如何写好英语作文评语

笔者有一次和一位学生谈心，她告诉笔者，她以前几乎不写英语作文，但有一次心情好，写了一篇，老师给了她一个excellent的评语，自从那以后她对英语作文产生了极大的兴趣。

她的话语对笔者的启发很大，事实上评语是一种批阅的方式，也是提高英语写作能力中的一个重要环节，它便于学生更加清楚地了解自己在英语作文中的优缺点，有利于沟通师生之间的情感，调动学生的写作积极性，促进学生养成良好的写作习惯。

教师在写英语评语的时候，总是一成不变地使用综合类评语，如“great”，“good”等。

起始阶段对学生有一定的激励作用，但若千篇一律的话，就会使学生无法正确认识自己的写作水平，并最终导致学生对教师的这类评价视而不见。

那么如何写好英语作文评语？

笔者就英语作文评语方面谈一点自己的看法。

第一，和谐民主性评语

评语是写给学生看的，所以必须使用学生能看得懂的英语来写，要切合学生的实际，符合学生的个性和心理发展。

每个学生在思想意识、行为标准等方面都很具有个性化色彩的成分，他们最想得到教师的认同和尊重。

教师要让学生在评语中能领悟出教师对他是否关心、有信心和责任心。

评语应言辞恳切，切中要害；或热情鼓励、或委婉告诫……通过评语，教师尽可把祝福、问候、关切、激励、真诚、信任之情化作甘甜的泉水，去滋润学生的心田，引起师生教与学的共鸣，达到教与学两者的和谐与统一。

第二，激励沟通性评语

鼓励性评语的作用主要是保护和培养学生的英语作文兴趣和自信。

教师们都知道，大多数学生害怕英语写作，但一旦学生得到了被尊重、被表扬、被认可的需要时，他们的写作热情就能倍增。

希望得到教师的表扬和鼓励，这是学生精神上的需要。

作文较差的学生，很容易在这方面心灰意冷，而丧失进取心，所以他们更需要鼓励性的评语。

这就要求教师要善于发现局部的闪光点，只有大到全篇的审题立意、构思和过渡，小到开头结尾、一句话、一个词，甚至一个标点，去寻找值得表扬学生的点点滴滴。

值得注意的是，这些表扬必须是真实的、准确的，如果让学生看出有一点勉强，就会挫伤其自尊心，就适得其反了。

但我们平时对作文的批改确实没做到这么仔细。
