Reviewedourcountryelectricalpowersystemrelayprotectiontechnologicaldevelopmentprocess,hasoutlinedthemicrocomputerrelayprotectiontechnologyachievement,proposethefuturerelayprotectiontechnologicaldevelopmenttendencywillbe:

Theelectricalpowersystemrapiddevelopmenttotherelayprotectionproposeunceasinglythenewrequest,theelectronictechnology,computertechnologyandthecommunicationrapiddevelopmentunceasinglyhaspouredintothenewvigorfortherelayprotectiontechnologydevelopment,therefore,therelayprotectiontechnologyisadvantageous,hascompletedthedevelopment4historicalstageinmorethan40yearstime.

Afterthefoundingofthenation,ourcountryrelayprotectiondiscipline,therelayprotectiondesign,therelaymanufactureindustryandtherelayprotectiontechnicalteamgrowsoutofnothing,haspassedthroughthepathinabout10yearswhichadvancedcountrieshalfcenturypassesthrough.The50's,ourcountryengineersandtechnicianscreativelyabsorption,thedigestion,havegraspedtheoverseasadvancedrelayprotectionequipmentperformanceandthemovementtechnology,completedtohavethedeeprelayprotectiontheoryattainmentsandtherichmovementexperiencerelayprotectiontechnicalteam,andgrewtheinstructionfunctiontothenationalrelayprotectiontechnicalteam'sestablishment.Therelayfactoryintroductionhasdigestedatthattimetheoverseasadvancedrelaymanufacturetechnology,hasestablishedourcountryrelaymanufacturingindustry.Thusourcountryhascompletedtherelayprotectionresearch,thedesign,themanufacture,themovementandtheteachingcompletesysteminthe60's.Thisisatimewhichthemechanicalandelectricalrelayprotectionprospers,wasourcountriesrelayprotectiontechnologydevelopmenthaslaidthesolidfoundation.

Fromtheendofthe50's,thetransistorrelayprotectionwasstartingtostudy.Inthe60'stothe80's,itisthetimeswhichthetransistorrelayprotectionvigorousdevelopmentandwidelyused.TianjinUniversityandtheNanjingelectricpowerautomationplantcooperationresearch500kVtransistordirectionhighfrequencyprotectionthetransistorhighfrequencyblocksystemwhichdevelopswiththeNanjingelectricpowerautomationresearchinstituteisawayfromtheprotection,movesontheGezhouDam500kVline,finishedthe500kVlineprotectiontodependuponcompletelyfromtheoverseasimporttime.

Fromthe70's,startbasedontheintegrationoperationalamplifierintegratedcircuitprotectiontostudy.Hasformedthecompletelyseriestoattheendof80'sintegratedcircuitprotection,substitutesforthetransistorprotectiongradually.Thedevelopment,theproduction,theapplicationtheintegratedcircuitprotectswhichtothebeginningofthe90'sstillwereinthedominantposition,thiswastheintegratedcircuitprotectiontime.TheintegratedelectricityroadworkfrequencyconversionquantitydirectiondevelopswhichinthisaspectNanjingelectricpowerautomationresearchinstitutehighfrequencyprotectedthevitalrole,theTianjinUniversityandtheNanjingelectricpowerautomationplantcooperationdevelopmentintegratedcircuitphasevoltagecompensatedthetypedirectionhighfrequencyprotectionalsomovesinmulti-strip220kVandonthe500kVline.

Ourcountrynamelystartedthecomputerrelayprotectionresearchfromtheendofthe70's,theinstitutionsofhigherlearningandthescientificresearchcourtyardinstituteforerunner'sfunction.HuazhongUniversityofScienceandTechnology,southeasttheuniversity,theNorthChinaelectricpowerinstitute,theXianJiaotongUniversity,theTianjinUniversity,ShanghaiJiaotongUniversity,theChongqingUniversityandtheNanjingelectricpowerautomationresearchinstituteoneafteranotherhasalldevelopedthedifferentprinciple,thedifferentpatternmicrocomputerprotectivedevice.In1984theoriginalNorthChinaelectricpowerinstitutedevelopedthetransmissionlinemicrocomputerprotectivedevicefirstthroughtheevaluationandinthesystemthefindapplication,hadopenedinourcountryrelayprotectionhistorythenewpage,protectthepromotionforthemicrocomputertopavetheway.Inthehostequipmentprotectionaspect,thegeneratorwhichsoutheasttheuniversityandHuazhongUniversityofScienceandTechnologydeveloplosesmagnetismprotection,thegeneratorprotectionandthegenerator?

Bankoftransformersprotectionalsooneafteranotherin1989、1994throughappraisalandinvestmentmovement.TheNanjingelectricpowerautomationresearchinstitutedevelopsmicrocomputerlineprotectivedevicealsoin1991throughappraisal.TheTianjinUniversityandtheNanjingelectricpowerautomationplantcooperationdevelopmentmicrocomputerphasevoltagecompensatedthetypedirectionhighfrequencyprotection,theXianJiaotongUniversityandtheXuchangRelayFactorycooperationdevelopmentpositivesequencebreakdowncomponentdirectionhighfrequencyprotectionalsooneafteranotherin1993,in1996throughtheappraisal.Here,thedifferentprinciple,thedifferenttypemicrocomputerlineandthehostequipmentprotectunique,providedonebatchofnewgenerationofperformancefortheelectricalpowersystemfine,thefunctionhasbeencomplete,theworkreliablerelayprotectioninstallment.Alongwiththemicrocomputerprotectivedeviceresearch,inmicrocomputeraspectandsoonprotectionsoftware,algorithmhasalsoyieldedtheverymanytheoriesresult.Maysaystartedourcountryrelayprotectiontechnologyfromthe90'stoenterthetimewhichthemicrocomputerprotected.

Therelayprotectiontechnologyfuturethetendencywillbetocomputerizes,networked,theintellectualization,willprotect,thecontrol,thesurveyandthedatacommunicationintegrationdevelopment.

Alongwiththecomputerhardwareswiftandviolentdevelopment,themicrocomputerprotectionhardwarealsounceasinglyisdeveloping.TheoriginalNorthChinaelectricpowerinstitutedevelopsthemicrocomputerlineprotectionhardwarehasexperienced3developmentphases:

TheNanjingelectricpowerautomationresearchinstitutefromtheverybeginninghasdeveloped16CPUisthefoundationmicrocomputerlineprotection,obtainedthebigareapromotion,atpresentalsoisstudying32protectionshardwaresystem.Southeasttheuniversitydevelopsthemicrocomputerhostequipmentprotectsthehardwarealsopassedthroughimprovedandtheenhancementmanytimes.TheTianjinUniversityfromtheverybeginningisthedevelopmenttakemorethan16CPUasthefoundationmicrocomputerlineprotection,in1988namelystartedtostudytake32digitalsignalsprocessor(DSP)asthefoundationprotection,thecontrol,thesurveyintegrationmicrocomputerinstallment,atpresentcooperatedwiththeZhuhaiautomaticequipmentcompanydevelopsonekindoffunctioncomplete32bigmodules,amodulewasaminicomputer.Uses32microcomputerschipsonlytofocusbynomeansontheprecision,becauseoftheprecisionthea/dswitchresolutionlimit,issurpassedtime16allisacceptswithdifficultyintheconversionrateandthecostaspect;32microcomputerschipshavetheveryhighintegrationratemoreimportantly,veryhighoperatingfrequencyandcomputationspeed,verybigaddressingspace,richcommandsystemandmanyinputsoutlet.TheCPUregister,thedatabus,theaddressbusallare32,hasthememorymanagementfunction,thememoryprotectionfunctionandthedutytransformationfunction,and(cache)andthefloatingnumberpartallintegratesthehighspeedbufferinCPU.

Theelectricalpowersystemtherequestwhichprotectstothemicrocomputerenhancesunceasingly,besidesprotectionbasicfunction,butalsoshouldhavethelargecapacitybreakdowninformationandthedatalong-termstoragespace,thefastdataprocessingfunction,theformidabletrafficcapacity,withotherprotections,thecontroldeviceanddispatchesthenetworkingbytosharetheentiresystemdata,theinformationandthenetworkresourcesability,thehigherorderlanguageprogrammingandsoon.Thisrequeststhemicrocomputerprotectivedevicetohaveisequaltoapcmachinefunction.Inthecomputerprotectiondevelopmentinitialperiod,onceconceivedhasmadetherelayprotectioninstallmentwithaminicomputer.Atthattimebecausethesmallmachinevolumebig,thecosthigh,thereliabilitywasbad,thistentativeplanwasnotrealistic.Now,withthemicrocomputerprotectivedevicesizesimilarlaborcontrollingmachinefunction,thespeed,thestoragecapacitygreatlyhassurpassedthesameyearsmallmachine,therefore,madetherelayprotectionwithcompletesetlaborcontrollingmachinetheopportunityalreadytobemature,thiswillbeoneofdevelopmentdirectionswhichthemicrocomputerprotected.TheTianjinUniversityhasdevelopedtherelayprotectioninstallmentwh
