1Overview

TheMCTRL300hastwoEthernetports.Eachportcanloadreceivingcardsandthepositionofthesereceivingcardsisnotrestrained(Theycanbedistributedfromtoptobottom,orfromlefttoright).Theconnectiondiagramformappingthecabinetsmustbeseenfromthefrontofthescreen.Ifeachcabinethasthesameloadingcapacity,choosesimplescreenconfiguration.Otherwise,choosestandardorcomplexscreenconfigurationbasedonspecificsituations.
Thefollowingoperationmethodusesthestandardscreenconfigurationasanexample.

Step1StartNovaLCT-MarsandclickScreenConfigurationonthehomepage

Step4IntheSendingCardNumberarea,selectthecorrespondingsendingcard.
Step5IntheEthernetportNo.area,selectthecorrespondingEthernetport.
Step6Clickareceivingcardconnectedtothesendingcard,andthatreceivingcardisdefinedasthefirstreceivingcard.Then,intheReceivingCardSizearea,enterthecorrespondingwidthandheight.Afterwidthandheightsettings,clickthereceivingcardconnectedtothefirstreceivingcard,andthatreceivingcardisdefinedasthesecondreceivingcard.Therestconfigurationcanbedoneinthesamemanner.
Step7Theloadingcapacityofeachreceivingcardcanbethesameordifferent.IfyouclickApplytothecurrentport,theloadingcapacityofallreceivingcardscorrespondingtotheselectedEthernetportwillbesetastheloadingcapacitythatyousetcurrently.YoucanalsoselectSetBlankandsendtheconfigurationinformationtothereceivingcardorsaveittothelocalfile.
Step8RepeatStep5,Step6andStep7tosetreceivingcardscorrespondingtootherEthernetports.
Step9RepeatStep4,Step5,Step6,andStep7tosetreceivingcardscorrespondingtoothersendingcards.
Step10Afterconfiguration,clickSendtoHWtosendtheconfigurationinformationtothesendingcard,orclickSavetoFiletosavetheconfigurationinformationtothelocalfile.

●WhentherefreshrateoftheDVIconnectedtothesendingcardisdifferentfromtherefreshratesavedinthesendingcard,thedisplayonthescreenwillflash,ortheimagewillnotbedisplayed.
IftheresolutionoftheDVIconnectedtothesendingcardcannotbechanged,youcanchangetheresolutionandrefreshrateofthesendingcardtoachieveanormaldisplayeffect.
OperationProcedures
Step1OntheScreenConfigurationpage,clicktheSendingCardtab.Then,adjustthesendingcard’sresolutionandrefreshrate.

Step2AfteryousettheresolutionandrefreshratetimesintheSourceConfigurationarea,click.
Step3OnthePC,setthegraphicscardmodetothesingledisplaymode(nottocopyorextend).Then,setthegraphicscardmodetotheoriginaldisplaymode(DoingsowillavoidunpluggingandpluggingtheDVIconnectioncablebecausethegraphicscardneedstoidentifysendingcardinformationagain,suchasresolution,etc.)Iftheresolutionhaschanged,youneedtosendtheperformanceparametersagainonthereceivingcardpage.
Note:
●IftheresolutionoftheDVIthatisfinallyconnectedtothesendingcardisdifferentfromtheresolutionofthecomputerwhichconfigurestheM3seriescontrolsystem,youneedtosetthecomputerresolutionastheresolutionoftheDVIwhichisfinallyconnectedtothesendingcardafteryoufinishconfiguringthecontrolsystem.
●IftherefreshrateoftheDVIthatisfinallyconnectedtothesendingcardisdifferentfromtherefreshrateofthecomputerwhichconfigurestheM3seriescontrolsystem,youneedtosetthecomputerrefreshrateastherefreshrateoftheDVIwhichisfinallyconnectedtothesendingcard.Youalsoneedtosendthesendingcard’sperformanceparametersagain.
3.2.3RedundancySettings
TheMCTRL300doesnotsupportredundancyamongsendingcards.
RedundancyofEthernetportsofthesendingcardcanformthereceivingcardsintoaloop.IfanEthernetcableintheloopisdisconnected,thebackupdevicecanreplacetheprimarydeviceinatimelymanner,soastoensurethatthescreenworksnormally.
