ThescopeofthefinalexaminationforthecourseBusinessEnglishwillcoverUnits1through13,includingthelistening,speaking(Dialogue1),reading,andwritingtasksofeachunit.Youneedreviewthetextofeachunitwhilepreparingforthefinal.Thecontentofthefinalexaminationincludessixparts:
true/forcequestions(10%),fastreading(10%),thebestchoice(20%),translations(20%),readingandcomprehension(20%),andEnglishwriting(20%).Forthepartoftranslations(includingEnglish-to-ChineseandChinese-to-English),youneedmemorizethefrequentlyusedbusinessterms,especiallythetitleofeachunit,andunderstandthesentencesforbusinesssituationconversationinthesection“LanguageFocus”ofeachunit.ForthepartofEnglishwriting,likewhatyouhavedoneintheassignments,youshouldbeabletowriteabusinessletteroramemointhestandardformatonthebasisofgiveninformation.Thefollowingquestionsorguidelines(III,IV&IV)maybeusefulforyoutoprepareforthefinal.
