Largewindfarmscanbebuiltinsixmonthstoayearandtheneasilyexpandedasneeded.Withamoderatetofairlyhighnetenergyyield,thesesystemsemitnoheat-trappingcarbondioxideorotherairpollutantsandneednowaterforcooling;manufacturingthemproduceslittlewaterpollution.Thelandunderwindturbinescanbeusedforgrazingcattleandotherpurposes,andleasinglandforwindturbinescanprovideextraincomeforfarmersandranchers.
