  Theexperimentalprinciple,theironandsulfuricacidtogeneratereactiveferroussulfate,ferroussulfateandammoniumsulfateinanaqueoussolutionofequalmolarinteraction,becomeslesssolublebluegenerateferrousammoniumsulfate.

  Fe+H2SO4=FeSO4+H2(gas)

  FeSO4+(NH4)2SO4+6H2O=(NH4)2SO4.FeSO4.6H2OUsuallyferrousrocksareeasilyoxidizedinair,butaftertheformationofrelativelystableperfunctory,nottobeoxidized.

  Experimenttouseinstruments,scales,constanttemperaturewaterbath,pumps,basins,cups,10mlgraduatedcylinder,asbestosmesh,glass,tripod,alcohollamp,funnel.

  Ironpiecestoasolidpharmaceuticaluse,useofacidammoniumsulfateand3mol/lofsulfuricacid,concentratedsulfuricacid.

  Theexperimentwasdividedintofoursteps.

  ThefirststepSaidironpowder4gintoabeakerandthen50ml10ml,3mol/LH2SO4wasaddedtothesamebeaker.Thesecondstepwillbethebeakerisheatedtonomorebubbles,andthenfilteredhotandthefiltratewasthenfilledin100mlbeaker.Thethirdstep,called4g(NH4)2SO4,andtheresulting

  ammoniumsulfateand5.3mlofwatertoformasaturatedsolution,andthenaddittotheferroussulfatesolution,adjustedwithconcentratedsulfuricacidtoPH=1.Afourthstep,thethirdstepthesolutionwasheatedinawaterbathtothesurfaceuntilthefilmiscrystallized,itwasslowlycooledand

  thenfilteredunderreducedpressuretostandfinallydried,weighedandtheyieldwascalculated.Theresultsobtained8.1gbluishpowdery

  crystals.Havethisresultwecancalculateyield,startingwiththefirststepwetriedtoknowtheamountofiron,shouldthiswecancalculatethetheoreticalsulfateferroussulfateis0.03mol,thenferroussulfateobtainedbythe

  0.03molFeSO4theoreticalvalueofammonium.FeSO4+(NH4)2SO4+6H2O=FeSO4.(NH4)2SO4.6H2O0.03molXmol

  X=0.03mol

  m=XM=0.03molⅹ392g/mol=11.76g

  Yield=theactualvalueoftheformulaisdividedbythetheoreticalvalueby100%.itwillbecalculatedintothedataobtainedinayieldof68.9%.
