日本国内较有规模的Forwarder有二家：
Sumitomo 及Nippon。
它们于日本各地的W/H（Warehouse）及Branch（分公司）较多，而Nippon（“日通”）于HKG较有名气。
日线货中常见一些国外（日本）客户（进口商）指定某一家Carrier或Forwarder
Handle其Shippment（货载）或cargo（散货）。
原因是：
日本有一些道路是被Carrier或Forwarder买下（经营权）。
别公司不得进入。
若欲进入需交路费，有的要在路口卸下以人手搬运至工厂
日线是东南亚地区Forwarders指定率（客户指定forwarder）最高之地区原因除上达外，另日本重视长期性合作，且forwarder替其提供进口报关、仓储（warehousing）、运输、物流（Logistics）、配送等额外SVC（service）,故许多进口客人长期指定。
