Apartfromspermwhales,otheranimalslikewolvesandapesalsohavedifferentregionalaccents.Researchersanalyzedthehowlsofdifferentspeciesofwolves.Theyfoundthatredwolves,Arcticwolvesandotherwolveshavehowlsthatvaryinpitch(音调).Inotherwords,theyhavetheirowndialects.

AccordingtoDarcyKelleyfromColumbiaUniversity,mostanimalslearntheiraccentsnaturally.Forexample,macaques(猕猴)startspeakingtheirdialectassoonastheyareborn.Scientistsplacedsomemacaquesinanewenvironmentwheretheirplaymatesallspokeadifferentdialect.Butthemacaquesstillspoketheirowndialect.Theirenvironmenthadnoinfluenceontheircommunication,accordingtotheWashingtonPost.
