3.Analysis

3.1Analysis of differentattitudes

Accordingto Figure1:

Althoughthe lawsandregulationsthatlimit the plasticbagshavebeenissued forabout threeyears, alargeproportion(36.7%+29.2%=65.9%) stilluse plasticbags invariablesizesin supermarket.Andonlyasmall portionusecloth bags ordonotuse plasticbags. Meanwhile, 54.3% ofall men (14.1% +16.9% +25.3%= 54.3%) whoshopin Carrefour do notbuy plasticbags,yet 73.5% (51% +20.4% +2.1%= 73.5%)of women would notbuy plasticbags whenshopping. Whatcanbeshowedfromtheinvestigationisthatwomen'senvironmentalawareness isbetterthanmen’s.Accordingtotheresearchmadebyaresearchwebsite,ShenchiReaearchReinventeexposedthat93percent ofpeople support theimplementationof plasticlimit (2021). Infact,people,however,who practiceaswhattheypreach,are lessthan two-thirds.AstheinformationshowedintheFigure1, peopleshouldhaveabetterunderstanding of plasticbagslimit,ofcause,there’snodoubtthatenvironmentalawareness has tobe strengthenedfurther.

6

3.2Analysis ofdifferentsituations

Accordingto Figure2:

Basedonanalyzingthe totalusageamountofplasticbags ,we canseethat a sharpdeclinein thetotaluseof shoppingbagsappeared inJune,2021whenthe?

Restrictionsonproduction,salesanduseofplasticshoppingbags?

hadjustbeenintroduced,Preciselytherewasa 69% reduction.Unfortunately,Julyhadthe rapidincrease. Attheimplementationbeginningoftheplasticbagsrestrictions,thenumberofused plasticbagsreducesveryquickly. Ithink themainreasonsareasfollows:

1.Therewasvigorouspublicity frommultiplechannels(suchastheGovernment,themedia, businessesandsoon)sothatpeople hadamore profound and moreprehensiveunderstandingofpolicies.2.Facedwiththeissueofwhite pollution,people havehadfurthersenseofenvironmentcrisis.

7

Nevertheless,astime goeson,theinconvenience withoutplasticbagsmakestheamountaddbackso dramatically. Possiblereasonsarethat:

1.It’sreally easytoworkwithplasticbagsif thereisaneed in shopping.2.Aplasticbagonlyfocuseson afewcents.It issocheap. Fortunately,overalltheamount inJuly decreased byabout20%than inMay.Tosomeextent, thelawsandregulations arevalid,buttheyhaven’t playedasignificant role.That’s,theimplementationeffectisnot soobvious. AstheinformationshowedintheFigure2, People shouldconstantly reinforceawarenessofenvironmentalprotection whichcan furthercurbthe useofplasticbags.

3.3Analysis ofusingplasticbagsinretailmarkets

8

9

Accordingto Figure3:

Asurvey fromretailmarkets showsthatonly15.3%of plasticbagsmakeasmallcharge,and84.64% arestillfree.Atthesametime,90.7%ofall stallsoffer ultra-thin plasticbagsthere. Inretailmarkets, onlyafew shoppers useenvironmentallyfriendly bagsand baskets. Themainreasonsare:

1,Stallsworryabout consumer reducesiftheycharge for plasticbags.Afterall,themajorityprovides free plasticbags,meanwhile,inorder toreducethecosts whenthey provide ultra-thin plasticbags. 2,It’snot convenienttoclassifythepurchased moditieswithout plasticbags,so usingdisposable plasticbagisagoodchoice.Otherwise,all goodsare mixed together.Itis probablyto causesome product deformation.  3. Fish andmeatpurchasedfromretailmarkets arenotveryclean,whichwoulddirty basketandclothbags.Inparison, whenconsumers buying fruitand vegetables,fewerdisposableplasticbagsare used.4, thereisno strict supervisionfor themarket salesand plasticbagsuse.Therelevantdepartmentsarenotresponsibleenough.

3.4Analysis overall

9

paredthe use ofplasticbagsbetweensupermarketsand retailmarkets, retailmarket isrelativelymorethansupermarkets. Inotherwords,theimplementation aboutrestrictiononplasticbags insupermarkets ismoreefficientthanretailmarkets.Peopleall payforbills atcashregistersinsupermarkets.Likethis,plasticshoppingbagscanbesoldasakindofmoditywhichiseasilyadministrated.Retailmarketsarefragmentedbusiness,andmanymoditypricesaredeterminedbybargaining,letalonethechargeofplasticbags.Ifa stall doesn’tofferfree plasticbags, it willlosepetitiveadvantage.

4.Conclusion

Accordingtoknowingabout theactualimplementationeffectsof thispolicy and usingstatusquoofplasticbags, binedwiththeabove questionnairefindingsandstatistical analysisinthisreport, wedraw thefollowingconclusions:

●Attheimplementationbeginningofrestrictingplasticbags,theeffectis moreobvious.

Large shoppingmallsandsupermarkets havedone relativelywell, yetwholesalemarketsand smallshops doalittle worsewithoutclear standards.

●Wholesale purchaseof plasticbags iseasyforstallowners.

Judgingbythesurvey,theamountofplasticbagsinretailmarketsislarge.Inparticular,ultra-thin plasticbags prohibitedbythegovernmentarethemost.
