开场白
宇航员：
Iamaastronautyearsago,Ihaveexperiencedalot.Buttheonewhogivemethebiggestimpressionisalittleprince.Thatdayitwassomethingwrongwithmyplane,soIhadtotookoffonadesert,becauseofthatIcameacrossthelittleprince.
第一场
小王子：
hi,areyouthepeopleontheearth?
（走来）
宇航员：
oh,yes,ofcourse!
Butaren’tyou?
（正在查看飞机，有些吃惊）
小王子：
ofcourse,I’mnot!
Icomefromanotherplanet.
宇航员：
oh,thatsoundsinteresting,thenwhydoyoucomehere?
（宇航员非常感兴趣，停止工作）
小王子：
Idon’tknow,butdoyouwanttolistentometellyousomethingaboutmystory?
宇航员：
withpleasure!
（笑着回答，于是宇航员和小王子并排坐在一起）
小王子：
doyouknowwhatroseis?
宇航员：
oh,yes,Iknow.
小王子：
butsheisdifferent.
旁白
①宇航员：
asIwasverytiredaboutrepairingmyplanethatday,Iputofftheworkonmyhand,andsatdownwiththelittleprince,listeninghisstorytillthesunhadalreadyrosedown…
②Onthelittleprince'splanettheflowershadalwaysbeenverysimple.Butoneday,fromaseedblownfromnooneknewwhere,anewflowerhadcomeup;andthelittleprincehadwatchedverycloselyoverthissmallsproutwhichwasnotlikeanyothersmallsproutsonhisplanet.Thenonemorning,exactlyatsunrise,shesuddenlyshowedherself.
第二场
小王子：
Oh!
Howbeautifulyouare!
（拿着喷水壶）
玫瑰花：
thankyou.ButIamscarcelyawake.Ibegthatyouwillexcuseme.Mypetalsarestillalldisarranged...（打着哈欠）
小王子：
butyouarereallydifferentfromothers.
玫瑰花：
it’strue,Iwasbornatthesamemomentasthesun...
Ithinkitistimeforbreakfast,Ifyouwouldhavethekindnesstothinkofmyneeds—
小王子：
ofcourse,allright!
（小王子很有些不好意思，于是就拿着喷壶浇灌着花儿）
旁白
So,too,therosebeganveryquicklytotormenthimwithhervanity--whichwas,ifthetruthbeknown,alittledifficulttodealwith.Oneday,forinstance,whenshewasspeakingofherfourthorns,shesaidtothelittleprince:

Letthetigerscomewiththeirclaws!

Therearenotigersonmyplanet,And,anyway,tigersdonoteatweeds.玫瑰花：
Pleaseexcuseme...Iamnotatallafraidoftigers,butIhaveahorror
ofdrafts.Isupposeyouwouldn'thaveascreenforme?
AtnightIwantyoutoputmeunderaglassglobe.Itisverycoldwhereyoulive.IntheplaceIcamefrom—
玫瑰：
Thescreen?
小王子：
Iwasjustgoingtolookforitwhenyouspoketome...
旁白
Sothelittleprince,inspiteofallthegoodwillthatwasinseparablefromhislove,hadsooncometodoubther.Hehadtakenseriouslywordswhichwerewithoutimportance,anditmadehimveryunhappy.Atlast,hedecidedtogooutsidehavealongjourney.Hebelievedthathewouldneverwanttoreturn.Butonthislastmorningallthesefamiliartasksseemedveryprecioustohim.Andwhenhewateredtheflowerforthelasttime,andpreparedtoplaceherundertheshelterofherglassglobe,herealisedthathewasveryclosetotears.
小王子：
Goodbye.
玫瑰花：
......
小王子：
Goodbye.
玫瑰花：
......（一阵咳嗽，却不是因为生病，而是，因为，心痛）
Ihavebeensilly,Iaskyourforgiveness.Trytobehappy......

Buttheanimals—（一种忧郁，徘徊）
玫瑰花：
Well,ImustendurethepresenceoftwoorthreecaterpillarsifIwishtobecomeacquaintedwiththebutterflies.Itseemsthattheyareverybeautiful.Andifnotthebutterflies--andthecaterpillars--whowillcalluponme?
Youwillbefaraway...asforthelargeanimals--Iamnotatallafraidofanyofthem.Ihavemyclaws.Look,Ihavefourthorns,sodon'tlingerlikethis.Youhavedecidedtogoaway.Nowgo!
（极力忍住不流泪）
第三场
旁白
Afterthat,thelittleprincewenttoalotofplanets.Atlast,hearrivedonthe
planetcalledearth.Buthewasverymuchsurprisednottoseeanypeople.
Butithappenedthatafterwalkingforalongtimethroughsand,androcks,andsnow,thelittleprinceatlastcameuponaroad.Andallroadsleadtotheabodesofmen.Hewasstandingbeforeagarden,alla-bloomwithroses.
小王子：
Goodmorning.
玫瑰花们：
Goodmorning.
小王子：
Whoareyou?
玫瑰花们：
Weareroses
旁白
Andhewasovercomewithsadness.Hisflowerhadtoldhimthatshewastheonlyoneofherkindinalltheuniverse.Andherewerefivethousandofthem,allalike,inonesinglegarden!
小王子：
Shewouldbeverymuchannoyed,ifsheshouldseethat...shewouldcoughmostdreadfully,andshewouldpretendthatshewasdying,toavoidbeinglaughedat.AndIshouldbeobligedtopretendthatIwasnursingherbacktolife--forifIdidnotdothat,tohumblemyselfalso,shewouldreallyallowherselftodie...（自言自语）
（接着他又说道）
