1innovation

With theeconomicglobalizationbecoming increasinglyintensive, inventionor innovationhasbecomeoneofcentraltopicaroundtheworld. Many countries see itasthekeytodeveloptheireconomy.Ourgovernment, withnoexception, regard itas“ thesoul of ournation.”What, however, canwe benefitfromit?

Firstof all, inventionor innovation can enhanceoverallnationaleconomy, whichisimportantto heightenournation status in theworld.Additionally, iffactorieshavethe abilitiesininvention, thefactorieswillbebooming. As aresult, theycanprovide ourpeoplewithmore jobsanditwillmake ournationmore stable.Whatismore, a majorityof newproducts maybe avaiblethrough invention. Therefore, itisalso significantfactorforimprovingourlivingstandards.Owingtosuchbenefits, nowondermoreand more countriesfocusoninventiontoday.

Recognizingitsimportanceisonlythefiststeptoadvocate invetion orinnovation, andsome effectivemeasures shouldbetakenforit.Foronething, our authority should continuetoenlargetherecruitofgraduate. Foranother, the conditionsofscientistsandskilledworkersshouldbe furtherimproved. Onlyinthisway, can“the soulofournation” befullyembodied and our nation haveabrighterfuture.

There isno denyingthatcomputer networkisanindicationofsocial civilazationandprogress.internetisan informationpool ,people cansearchanythingthey wantbytypingthekey words.Forexample, someone wants toknowtheGreatWallof China,whathe/sheneedtodoisonlytoopen aninternet exporerandtypethewords:

3KnowledgeIsPower

KnowledgeIs PowerRecently there hasbeenadiscussionregarding theissueofknowl-edgein thenewspaper.Ascan beseenfromthe picture, knowledgeissymbolizedbyaclenchedfistaspower. Thefistsendsoutamessagefor“obedience”,threatening to crackwith poweranyhardnut.Themoredemanding and challenginga task is,themorepowerfulthefistseems togrow. Similarly, knowledge, thestrongest powerfor humanbeings, feedsupthe fieldof science andtechnology.Themoread-vancedanddevelopedafieldis,the moreprofound knowledgeseemsto become.A specificexample isthe dunapingofMir,Russia‘sspacestation.AsisthecaseoftheRussianspace program, thecountrycouldnolonger affordtokeepMir aloftin orbitbecauseoflackOf financial support Therefore, Rus-siadecidedto dump thespacestation. The effectis bothimmediate and far -reaching.As faras thepresent isconcerned, thesuccessfullaunchingand dumpingof IVrLr hasprovedto theworldthatmankind, armed withpro-fca.mdknowledge,cannotjustbuildthingsbut canoperatethemwelt. For thedistantimpact,theonce- in-a-lifetimesuccessof/VFtrprovidesman with valuableandindispensable experienceformanned spaceflight in the yearsto crane. Then, somedayinthefurore, themmight appearinspacemoreMirs,visitingMars,spreadingfriendship,paradingtheperfectmaste-ryofknowledge. Astothebestwaytomasterknowledge,Isuggestthat everyoneofus“asknotwhatotherswilllearn fromyou, butwhatyou can learnfrom theothers.” Byso doing,Isincerely believeeachperson,pro-tectedby’ the “fist”,willbe learnedand knowledgeable.

4experiencesandbooks

Bothexperiencesandbooksareveryessentialresources,andbothofthem haverelevantmerits.

Experiencesare themostdirect resourcesweeverhave.Almostoureverybasicskillcamefromexperiences, such aswalking, articulating, readingeven thinking. Without experiences, some naturalbornabilitiesevenmightlose.Studieshaveshownthatababywhowasrobbedby animalsintoforestfor12 yearslosthisabilitytotalkin humanlanguage.Furthermore, itisgenerallyacceptedthateachandeveryskilldevelops byexperiences, andthat'swhypeople alwayssaypractice makesperfect.

Booksarevaluablewhenknowledgeis beyondthescopeof ourexperiences. Perhapsthemostobviousexamplesarethosefluentwriters.Theywritevarious stories, thescopesof whicharefarbeyondanyindividual'sexperiences.TakeJoyceCarolOatesforexample, herproductivity has beenprodigious, accumulatinginlessthan twodecadestonearly thirty titles, including novels, collectionsofshortstories andverse, playsand literarycriticism.Althoughsomeofthemappearto comefromherowndirectobservations, herdreams, and her fears, muchmoreisclearlyfromtheexperiencesof others. Her fictiveworldremains strikinglyakintothatrealonereflectedin the dailynewspapers, thetelevisionnewsandtalkshows, andthe popularmagazinesofour day.

Yeteitherexperiencesorbooksmaygiveuswronginformation.Ourdirectobservationsalwaysaresubjecttoourbeliefs,hopes,fears, expectations,and ourbias,which mightmakeobservationsunreliable.Peoplevary intheir powersofobservation,andthe reliabilityofour observationsisnobetterthan thereliability ofourmemories,whichaswe knowcanbedeceptive.Informationprintedinpaperssometimesis unreliableeither, it maybemisprinted,orevendeliberatelydistorted.Forexample,DefinitionssuchasMarxism,Capitalism, ZionismaretotallydifferentintheOxfordLearner's DictionaryofCurrentEnglish betweentheoriginal editionandthesanctionedRussianedition.

Inconclusion, bothsourcesareimportant. Sometimesoneismoreimportantthantheotherinaccordancewithspecificcircumstances. For example, when we makeageneralsurveyaboutacertainsubject, wemaypreferrichreferencesinlibrary.Ontheotherhand, ifwewanttoknowmore specificdetails, wehad betterrefertoexperiencessuchasresultsofcarefullydesignedexperiments.

5success

Ifullyagree withtheclaimthatthere is nocorrelationbetweensuccessand luck. Moreover, Iunderstand successto refer toone'sability toachievethepredominant partofhisgoals inhislifetime, whichin turnleads toacorrelationbetween successandincomesincethe accomplishmentofsuchanaturalgoal astoprovidea goodfutureforyourloved onesdemandsthe means. Whatis the simplest andmost lawful wayto earnenough toconsideryourself a successfulperson?

To receiveagoodeducationand tofindagood job.Bothreceiving an education andmakinga careerpresupposeone'sreadinesstoworkhard, andsuccesswithouthardworkissimply notpossiblefor thevastmajorityoftheworld'spopulation.Thereasonsand exampleslisted below willstrengthen mypointofview.

Firstof all, considering an educationandacareer askeyfactorsofsuccess, onewill choosetopursue adegreefromacollege ora university.Onewishingto beadmittedtotheuniversitywillhavetotakeseveral tests.Itisdoubtful that someone willbesoluckythatknowingnothing, hecouldpass the testwitha highscore.Alowscoremeansfailure, and thattesttaker willnotlikelybeadmitted. Therefore, inorder tobesuccessful, oneshouldprepareforthe testsand work hard, because agoodeducationwillprovidehimwithagood jobandan opportunity toaccomplishsomeofhis goalsanddreams. Inmylifetime,I havenevermetapersonwhocould graduatefromacollegewithoutworkinghard.

Secondly, itis impossibletomakeacareer if oneisindolentandlackingknowledge, at leastindevelopedcountries.Luck playsnoroleinachievingthissuccess. Evenifsomeonewas unbelievably luckyenoughtobecomeamanagernotbeingqualified enough, hewill beaskedto resign inthenearfuture becauseofhis inabilitydue tolack ofknowledgeandexperiencetomakerightdecisions.Forinstance,Iusedtoworkforaverysmallcompanyowned bya friend. Thiscompanywas laterclosedbecause ofbankruptcy. The causeof bankruptcy was wrongstrategiesanddecisionsmadeby theowner.Afterthe failure, hewenttoa universityandworkedforanothercompanysothathecouldobtainexperienceandbecomea successfulbusinessman.Nowadays, heconsidershimself asuccessfulpersonbecausehehad turnedintorealityhistwobiggestdreamsofproducing consumergoodsof highqualityandmakingcharitabledonationsto needypeople.

Insum, aslongassomeoneunderstandssuccess asan ability toturnintoreality someofhisdreamsandgoals, hewillhavetoworkhard becausehe will needmoney.Andhis chances toearnthatmoneywillremarkablyincreaseif hecouldgraduatefroma collegeandmakeacareer. Allofthesethingsare simplynotpossiblewithouthardwork. Luckhasnoplaceinsuchascheme ofevents.
