本单元是必修二unit2第一课时，它的话题是奥运会，通过本单元的学习，使学生了解奥运会的起源、宗旨和比赛项目。
通过本单元的学习，培养学生的阅读策略。
这一部分的reading通过采访的形式，向学生介绍了古代和现代奥运会的异同及奥运会的一些基本情况，让学生全面了解奥运会。
