EducationObjective:
Itistofosterengineersandspecialistsinthefieldofhydrologyandwaterresources.Thegraduateswillhavenotonlygoodbackgroundofnaturalsciences,foreignlanguage,computerapplicationandmanagement,butalsospecializedknowledgeinwaterresourcesandenvironment（especiallyingroundwaterandenvironment）.Thegraduatescanengageininvestigating,forecasting,evaluatingandmanagingofsurfacewater,groundwaterandenvironmentalprotectioningovernmentdepartments,scientificresearchinstitutes,universities,andreconnaissanceanddesignsectorsandalsocancontinuetostudyforMaster’sdegreeandDoctor’sdegree.
EducationRequirements:
Basedonthemastertheknowledgeofnaturalscience,aforeignlanguageandcomputerapplications,studentswillacquiretheknowledgeandtechnologyforthedatacollectingandprocessingofhydrologyandwaterresources,aquaticenvironment,forecastingofwaterlogginganddrought,waterresourcesplanning,groundwaterseepageandothersrelatedskills.Studentsshouldhavetheabilitytosolvepracticalengineeringproblems,engagedinscientificresearch,organizingandmanaging.
GraduatesAreRequired:
1.Tograspthebasicknowledgeofmathematics,physics,chemistry,hydraulicsandhydrology.
2.Tograspthebasictheory,analyzinganddesigningmethodsabouthydrologyandwaterresources,aquaticenvironment.
3.Topossesstheabilitytoengageinengineeringplanning,investigating,designing,scientificresearch,organizingandmanaging.
4.Tobeproficientwithpoliciesandregulationsregardinghydrologyandwaterresources.
5.Toknowaboutthedevelopmentandfutureinthefieldofhydrologyandwaterresources,aquaticenvironment.
