1.0ConstructionPlanofEquipmentFoundation

1.1MeasurementWork

1.1.1PlaneControl

AccordingtothecoordinatecontrolpointsgivenbyPartyA,traversesurveyisusedtomeasurethesquareshapecontrolnetworkintheconstructionarea,and4semi-permanentcontrolpointsaresetatthefourcornersofthesquare.AfterreviewbyPartyA,thecontrolpointsshallbelaidwithbricksandmortarM7.5tobeasquarewell500×500×240,protectedbyscaffoldingsinredandwhite.Theadjacentcontrolpointistobeusedasthereferencepointinpositioning.J2theodoliteandsteelrulerandorthogonalcoordinatemethodareusedtomeasuretheaxesinverticalandhorizontaldirections.

1.1.2VerticalControl

OnthebasisoftheabsoluteelevationofthecontrolpointsgivenbyPartyA,DSZ2levelisusedtointroducethebenchmarksintotheconstructionareainordertocontrolthefoundationelevation.Priortotheconcretepour,carefulrecheckshouldbemadeontheaxes,topelevationoftheconcrete,andthetopelevationsoftheanchorbolts,andadjustedifoffsetisfound.Afteradjustment,makerecheckagaintoensurecorrectfoundationaxes,boltelevationandsoon.

1.1.3Afterthetemplatesareremoved,thesurveyorsshallmakeaxismarksintimeontopofthefoundationbymeansofalineinacarpenter’sinkmarker,andmakemarksofaxesandelevationsonthesidesoffoundationbyredpainting.

1.2Earthwork

Accordingtothefoundationlayout,thelargeareareadyforexcavationshallbedugbyexcavators,withmanualearthtake-away.Duringexcavation,apersonshallbeassignedtoshowdirectionsinordernottohavethepiletopsdamaged.Forthefoundationnotyetreadyformechanicalexcavation,manualdiggingwillbeconducted.Slopeisgoingtobehadbasedonthesoilcondition,witha300mmwidejobplaneatthebottomofthefoundation.Ifthefoundationpitisover20M²orconstructiondoneinrainydays,thenthereshouldbeaopendrainagetrencharoundthefoundationpit,andfourwaterpitsatthefourcornersofthefoundationpit,workersassignedtodrainthewaterawaytokeepthefoundationsoilfromsubmergence.Whenthefoundationpitiscompletedtothedesignrequirement,PartyAshouldbeinformedontimetocheckthefoundation,andthenextprocessshallnotbestartedtillitisqualified.On-timeearthrefillshallbemadeuponthecompletionofthefoundationwork.Andtheearthrefillshallnotcontainanybuildingdebris,likecrushedstonesorbricks,noranywaterinthefoundationpit.Layersofrefillingsoilshallberammedtoachievestrictwatercontentinthesoilrefilled.

1.3TemplateWork

1.3.1Theoutsidetemplatesofthefoundationpilecapshallbemadeupofbambooandgluedwoodenplates,andtheinsidetemplatesshallbeofshapedsteeltemplates,scaffoldingpipeswillbesupportedandfixed.Ifthecrosssectionisnotinlinewiththesteeltemplatenumber,thenwoodentemplateswillbeusedinsteadfortheshortageinordertosatisfythedesign.Uclampsaretobeusedinthesteeltemplatesplicingwithadistancelessthan300mmbetweeneachother.Lpinswillbeinsertedintheholesinthesteeltemplatesendstiffenerssoastostrengthentherigidityattheconnectionbetweenadjacenttemplates.Theconnectedportionshouldbesmoothandthetemplatesplicesbetight,andspongemaybestuckin,ifnecessary,toavoidmortarleakage.

1.3.2Thetemplatesystemshouldbedesignedinsuchawaythatdifferentfactorseffectiveontemplatesshouldbetakenintoaccount,likeconstantload,constructionload,concretepourspeed,collapserate,initialsolidificationtime,andsoon,soastomakecalculationofstrength,rigidityandstability.Insupportingthetemplates,allthememberpiecesshouldbeensuredofcorrectsizesandrelativepositions.Templatesupportsshallbeassimpleinstructureandeasyinuseaspossiblesoastobeconvenientforrebarbinding,concretepourandcuring.

1.3.3Boththetopandbottomendsofanchorboltsshouldbesecurelyfixedinthewaythatthetopendisclampedwithwoodorangles,andthebottomendissecuredwithadditionalrebarsandsurroundingtemplates.Theboltmoldsupportingshallbeindependentofthetemplatesupporting.Theboltsforroundequipmentfoundationshallbefixedwithspeciallymademolds.Thesupportingforboltmoldfixingshallbeindependentofthesupportingfortemplates.Theembeddedbolts’positionsmustconformtothedrawingsandspecifications.

1.4RebarWork

1.4.1Materials:

Therebarsfortheprojectmustbeprovidedwithqualitycertificate.Afterdeliveryonsite,visualcheckshallbemadetoseeiftheyareclean,nodamage,oilstainsorrustshouldbecleanedbeforeuse.Recheckshallbemadeasperthespecifiednumberinsampling.Itcanonlybeusedaftertherecheckispassed,thereportisgiventoPartyAforfiling.

1.4.2RebarPrefabrication

Rebarsshallbefabricatedtogetherattheprefabfieldandshallbetransportedtothesiteforlocalbinding.Allkindsofrebarequipmentsshallbereadyonsite,suchascuttingmachine,bendingmachine,straigtener,buttweldingmachine,DCweldingmachine,etc,andseetheequipmentlistforthespecificnumber.

1.4.3RebarConnections

Atthefoundationpilecap,therebarsunderstressshouldbeconnectedinastaggeredway,andthedesignandspecificationshallbesatisfiedintermsoftheconnectionnumber.

1.4.4RebarBinding

Intherebarbindingfortheshortcolumnsatopthefoundationpilecap,first,scaffoldingpipeswillbeusedfortemporaryfixingagainstslantingifthecolumnsarehighandthemainrebarsinsidearelong,andverticalityshouldbefoundbywayofwire-weight,andrebarbracingsshallbeaddedatsuitablepoints.Benchesshallbemadeforfoundationofbaseplatedoublereinforcementforeasyrebarbindingandtoavoidrebaroffsetduringconcretepour.Therebarprotectionlayerthicknesswillbecontrolledbymortar1:

1.4.5RebarChargerSheetandMaterialPlateofRebars

Chargersheetwillbefilledinwhenrebardistributioncalculationisfinished.Foreachnumberofrebarslistedinthechargersheet,amaterialplatewillbemadeasthebasisforrebarfabricationand,asthelabelfordistinguishingdifferentprojectwork,structuremembers,rebarsofvariousgrades.Thechargersheetandmaterialplateshouldbestrictlycheckedforcorrectnesstoavoidanyre-workorwaste.

1.5ConcreteWork

Commodityconcreteistobeused.Afteritistruckedtothesite,itispumpedintotemplates.

1.5.1CheckofMaterialsDeliveredonSite

Cavingratecheckshouldbemadeontheconcreteusedonsite,andrelevantqualitycertificateisrequired.Non-conformedconcreteshallnotbeallowedforuse,inordertoensurethatconstructionmaterialswillcomeuptothestandardsconcerned.

1.5.2PreparationsbeforePouring

Checkthetemplatesfortheelevations,positionsandcrosssections.

Checkthesupportsforthestability,andcheckthetemplatesforthetightnesstoensurenon-offsetornon-leakageofmortar.

Checktherebarsandanchorboltsforsizes,quantityandpositions.

Cleanandwashtemplatesoffdebrislikerubbish,bitsofwoodordirt.

1.5.3ConcretePouring

Inthedirectionoffoundationheight,concretewillbepouredlayerbylayerinathicknessof300mm.Thehigherlayerofconcreteshouldbepouredinthetimewhenthelowerlayerisstillnotyetininitialsolidification.Duringconcretepour,specialpersonshouldbetheretowatchoutforthetemplates,supports,rebars.Ifsomedeformationoroffsetisfound,concretepourshouldbestoppedimmediately,andtrytogeteverythingrightbeforeconcretesolidification.

1.5.4ConcreteVibration

Insertiontypevibratorswillbeused.Duringvibration,itisrequiredthatthevibratorsshouldbe“quicklyinsertedandslowlywithdrawn”,andthedistancebetweenvibratingpointsshallbeabout1.5timesofthevibratorrodworkradius(about450mm-600mm),andwhenvibratingthehigherlayerofconcrete,vibratorrodsshouldbeinsertedintothelowerlayerforabout5cm,soastoeliminatethejointbetweentwolayers,meanwhilethevibrationofupperlayershouldbedonebeforetheinitialsolidificationofthelowerlayer.Eachvibrationpointshouldbevibratedinduetime,normally20-30seconds,dependingonthesituationthattheconcretesurfaceliesflatwithoutanymoresinking-downorbubblesormortarrisingup.Uponcompletionofconcretepour,getridofthewateroozingoutfromthesurface.Secondaryvibrationmaybedonewhennecessarybeforetheinitialsolidification,andpressthesurfacedowntoeliminateanycontractioncracks.

1.5.5ConstructionJointProcessing

Inprinciple,thefoundationsarepouredtoshapeonceatime,withoutconstructionjointusually.Ifconstructionjointmustbereservedduetosomeforcemajeure,thentheDesignermustbeaskedforitsadviceandtheOwner’ssiteengineerforhiscommand,andthespecificationsaswell.Forthefoundationswithconstructionjoints,chiselawayanddampenthehardenedcementfilmandloosepebblesontheconcretesurfacepriortosetupofuppertemplates,and50mmthickmortarmixedwithconcreteshallbelaidbeforeconcretepour,rammedcarefullytogettightcombinationofnewandoldconcrete.

1.5.6ConcreteCuring

Within12hourswhenconcretepourisfinished,foundationsshouldbecoveredintimeandwateredforcuring.Ifsomefoundationistoosmalltobecovered,thenspecialpersonshouldbeassignedtowateritforcuring,inordertokeepthefoundationsurfacewet.Forthefoundationsconstructedinwintertime,itscuringwillneedplasticsheetandstrawbagsforcoverage,inadditiontoanti-freezerintheconcrete.

1.5.7Concrete
