单元整体分析
1.单元内容总体描述：
本单元的话题是学生熟知而又喜欢的话题Mybirthday，主要学习用When’syourbirthday?
询问对方的生日，用It’son….来回答有关日期的问题，并用Canyou…?
来邀请或请求对方做某事，此外，还呈现了一些与birthdayparty相关的语句，如：
XXhas….birthdaycard的制作活动等。

功能：
询问彼此的生日并邀请对方参加自己的生日聚会。
话题：
Mybirthday本单元主要学习如何询问对方的生日以及如何正确回答，难点在于用序数词来回答有关日期的问题。

Mybirthday是学生比较熟悉而又喜欢的话题，部分学生在学习了对话内容之后，基本能够运用核心句型When’syourbirthday?
It’son…来作简单的问答，但是也有一些同学由于对序数词的认读有一定的困难，因此影响交际活动的顺利开展。
少数同学对whattime/when的意义及用法分辨不清，需结合具体的事例加以区分，以逐步提高学生正确灵活运用语言的能力。
序数词在发音和书写方面的变化需在日常的课堂教学中逐步练习巩固，或者利用一些儿歌帮助学生按规律识记，加深记忆。
学生可能不好理解以下内容：
1.日期的表示法在书面和口语中有差异。
2.序数词的认读及拼写：
Chant:
1,2,3特殊记；8去t,9去e；
f来把ve替；结尾是y变ie;最后加上th.个别学生会提出whattime和when的区别与运用。
Whattime常用于询问具体的时间，如几点几分When常用于询问大概的时间，如几月几日

过程与方法：

2）通过儿歌记忆序数词的正确变化形式，在具体的交际活动中感受日期用英语和汉语表达的不同之处3）.通过读出字母组合和在单词中的发音，有节奏的表演Chant，并能迁移运用到其它含有st字母组合的单词拼读中。
3.情感态度价值观：
通过学习语言文本内容，能够进行有关Birthdayparty这一话题的交际活动，并感受与朋友一起庆祝生日的快乐。
教学方法与手段
1.采用听说法，通过听录音，回答问题的方法感知和理解Listenandsay这一核心板块。
2.利用多媒体课件，通过观察形式，总结规律，形成一些识记，单词的有效策略。
跟着节奏唱歌表演儿歌postoffice，培养良好的语感节奏感，并将字母组合st的发音迁移运用到其它含有st字母组合的单词拼读中。
