1GeneralDescriptions8095

1.1SeriesHB2three-phaseinductionmotorsaredesignedandmanufacturedintoflameprooftypeaccordingtothespecificationinEuropeanStandards.

EN60079-0:

2004ElectricalApparatusforExplosiveGasAtmospheresGeneralRequirements

EN60079-1:

2004ElectricalApparatusforExplosiveGasAtmospheresFlameproofEnclosure“d”

Theyareapplicabletothelocationsbeingpresenceofmethane,ethanol,coalgasandethyleneexplosivegasesandvaporsandcanbeusedasdrivers.ThemarkofexplosionprotectionisEexdIorEExdIIBT4.

1.2Thelegibleanddurableraisedsign“EEx”or“Ex”shouldbemarkedonthedistinctpositionoftheenclosureofmotors.TheExmarkconsistsofsign,type,groupandtemperatureclass.

1.3Theoutputratings,themountingdimensionsandcorrelationofthisseriesmotorsconformtoDIN42673.Forspecialrequirements,seeoutlinedrawing.

1.4ExplanationoftypedesignationofHB2132S1-2usasfollows:

2ServiceCondition

2.1CircumstanceConditions

2.1.1Ambienttemperature:

subjecttoseasonalvariationsbutnotexceeding-20~+40℃.

2.1.2Altitude:

upto1000m;

2.1.3Thehighestrelativehumidityoftheenvironmentalairisnotexceeding95%(whenairtemperatureisat+25℃).

2.1.4Coalmines(non-coalface)andZone2explosionhazardlocationswherepresentmixturesofflammablegas-orvapor-airwithignitiontemperatureT1~T4.

2.2ElectricalConditions

2.2.1Frequency:

50HZor60Hz

2.2.2Voltage:

Forframe-size80~280motors:

380V,400V,380/400V,400/690V.

Forframe-size315~355motor:

380V,400V,380/400V,400/690V.

2.2.3ThedutytypeisS1(continuousrunningduty-type).

2.2.4ThestatorwindingsareofClassForClassHinsulationsystems.

Note:

Whentheworkingconditionsandelectricalconditionsdonotconformtoehspecificationsin2.1~2.2,seethespecificationsindicatedonthemotor’snameplateandauxiliarymarkingplate.

3ConstructionFeatures

3.1ThedegreeofprotectionandmountingarrangementofthisseriesmotorsareIMB3,IMB35,IMB5,IMV1,ormanufacturedaccordingtocustomer’sspecifiedrequests.

3.2ThedegreeofprotectionofmotormainbodyenclosureisIP44,IP54andIP55.Andfortheflameproofstructure,seeFigure1.

3.3Thecoolingformofthemotor:

IC411totalencloseself-fancoolingforframesize80-355motor.

3.4Themotorfansaremadeformreinforcedacrylicplastering,HT150graycastironorweldingofsteelplate.Forplasticfan,theresistancemeasuredaccordingtothemethodspecifiedin60079-0:

2004shallnotgreaterthan1GΩ.

3.5Thestatorwindingsusepolyesterenamelroundcopperwire(ClassF)orpolyimideenamelroundcopperwire(ClassH).Thecompletewoundstatorcoresarevacuum-pressure-impregnated(VPI)tomakethembeasolidintegral.Thisprocessenablesthewindingstopossessexcellentelectricalandmechanicalproperties,highmoisture-resistantabilityandthermalstability.

3.6Themotorsrotoradoptssquirrelcagetype.Thealuminummotorrotorisfixedontheshaftbymeansofshrinkfitandbalancedwelltomakemotorsoperatesmoothlywithlittlenoseandvibration.

3.7Themotorsareprovidedwithacylindricalshaftextensionandtransmitbymeansofcouplingorspur-gearunit.Forspurgearing,thegearpitchdiametershouldnotlessthan3timesofshaftextensiondiameter.Twoshaftextensionorspecialshaft-extensionmotorscanalsobeproducedbyorderingrequest.

3.8Theterminalboxislocatedinthetopofthemotor.Theterminalboxesaredesignedandfabricatedwitheitherthreeorsixterminalswithoneortwoentries.Anothergalvanizedsteelorcopperscrewintheboxisfixedforinsideearthing.Theentriesoftheterminalboxaresuitableforrubber-insulatedcable,conduitentryandexplosion-proofflexiblepipe(armouringcable).TheprotectiondegreeofterminalboxesidIP55.Fortheconstructionofterminalbox,seeFigures2~3.

4ExplosionProtectionFeatures

4.1Theseseriesmotorsaresodesignedinmechanicalconstructionthatshouldtheexplosivemixtureinsidethemotorsbeignitedbysomecauseorother,theflamepoofenclosuresarecapableofwithstandingtheexplosion,andofpreventingthesparksinsidepassingthroughtheflameproofjoinsurfacesandtheignitionofexplosivemixturesurroundingtheenclosuresbysparks.

4.1.1ThepartsconstitutingflameproofenclosureshallbetestedhydrostaticallyaccordingtothespecificationinEN60079-1:

2004toensurethemtowithstandthemaximumexplosionpressure.

4.1.2Exercisestrictcontrolovertheflameproofjointsurface’slength,gapordiameterclearance,thesurfaceroughnessbetweenthesurfacesofallthepatsconstitutingtheflameproofenclosureandtheelectricclearanceandcreepagedistancebetweenthebareconductingpartsandthemetallicenclosurethecablefromharm.

4.2Inordertoensureflameproofpropertyoftheenclosure,theboltsjointingtheflameproofenclosureshouldbeprovidedwithspringwasherstopreventworkingloose.Afterfasteningboltsinboltblindhole,thethreadallowanceshouldberemainedbetweenthescreworbolttailandthethread-holebottom.Thethicknessofmetalsurroundingboltblindholesonenclosuresshouldnotbelessthan1/3oftheboltdiameter,butatleast3mm.

4.3Whenthecableisinletthroughtheterminalbox,thecableentryshouldbesealedwithelasticsealinggasket.ThesealinggasketismadeofrubberShore-Hardness45~50o.ThematerialshouldwithstandtheagingtestspecifiedinEN60079-0:

2004.Thediameterofthecablebroughtintotheterminalboxshallconformtothatoftheboreinthesealinggasket.Severaldifferentconcentricroundslotsaremadeinthesealinggasketandthevaluesoftheminimumoutsidediameterofcablecorrespondingtoeachroundslotaremarkedontheoutersurfaceofthesealinggaskets.Thebeardiameterofsealinggasket.Thebeardiameterofsealinggasketcanbeadjustedaccordingtocablediameter.Thecouplershouldbesotightenedthatnogapsexistbetweenthesealinggasketandthecable,betweenthesealinggasketandenterofterminalboxandbetweenthesealinggasketandchamberofgasketring.Otherwisetheflameproofpropertyoftheenclosurewouldbelost.

4.4theinsulatingpartsofterminalbushingandconnectingplateintheterminalboxaremadeofinsulatingmaterialbeingofDegreeIItrackingresistance.

4.5Earth:

Earthingofmotoristheimportantmeasurementtopreventleakageelectricsparkstoensuresafety.Asteelorcoppergalvanizedboltusesasanearthterminalandalsoanearthingsignboardfittedondistinctpositionofthemotorenclosures.

4.6Flameproofpartstheframe,theendshields,theshaft(rotor),theinnerbearingcovers,thebottomsectionofterminalbox,thebaseofterminalbox,thecoverofterminalbox,theterminalbolts,thesealgasket,theterminalsleeve,seeFigures1~3.

 

5InstallationandOperating

5.1Preparations1

5.1.1Beforeopeningthepackingcases,checkifthepackageisingoodshape.

5.1.2Afteropeningthepackingcases,cleanupthedustonthemotorsandanti-rustingagentontheshaftextensionandflangespigotcarefully.

5.1.3Checkwhetherthedataonthenameplate(andauxiliarymarkingplate)conformtothepurchasecontractandfieldsituations.

5.1.4Thefollowingpointsmustbeobservedbeforeinstallingflameproofmotors.Nooperationisallowedifthesepointsisunsatisfactory.

a)Thesign“Ex”andthecertificate’sseriesnumbermusthavebeenattachedtothemotorCheckwhetherthemarkofexplosionprotectionisconfirmtotheexplosiongaslocationwherethemotorisintendedtouse.

b)Alltheboltsaretightenedandspringwashersarepresent.Allpartsoftheflameproofenclosureareconnectedfirmly;

c)Nocracksordefectsaffectingtheflameproofpropertycouldbefoundonalltheflameproofparts.(Forthenewmotorhavingnotbeenused,thisitemcanbeomitted.)

d)Forthemotorwithgreasedrainandreplenishdevice,thegreasereplenishpipesshalldeunlocked.

e)Forthemotorwithbearingtemperaturedetector,afterthedevicebeingsetup,besurethatitsflexiblecordshallnottouchwiththefantopreventthemotorfromaccident.

5.2Forthemotorbeinglong-distancetransportedandlong-timestored,priortousing,theinsulationresistancevaluesbetweenstatorwindingsandenclosureshallnotlowerthan3XUN/1000Ω(UN:

ratedvoltageinV),otherwisethemotormustbedrieduntiltheinsulatingresistancevalueachievesthespecifiedone.

5.3Duringthemotorbeingmounted,caremustbeexercisedinliningup,asmisalignmentcanbedetrimentaltobearingsandshaftinboththemotoranddrivenequipment.Checkwhetherthecouplingorscrewandpinonspurgearingisfastened,theuntilrunssmoothlyandjam,shiftandabnormalnoiseispresentornot.

5.4Checkwhetherthemotor’sbearingsareshortofgrease,thebearingareshortofgreaseandtheenclosureearthsorconnectswithzerolinereliableetc.

5.6Checkwhethertheprotectivedevicesconformtotherequirementsandtheyareinstalledfirmlyandreliably.

5.7Checkwhethertheconnectiononthedrivenequipmentiscorrect,force-suppliedrotationonthedrivenequipmentissmooth,thetouchingheadscontactwell,themetallicenclosureofthedrivenequipmentissmooth,thetouchingheadscontactwell,themetallicenclosureofthedrivenequipmentearthsorconnectswithzerolinereliablyetc.

5.8Checkwhetherthree-phasepowersupplyvoltageisnormal.Nophenomenonofover-highorover-lowvoltageandunsymmetryofthreephasevoltageispresent.

5.9ConnectingwithElectricSource

5.9.1Thebottomsectionofterminalboxislocatedonthetopofthemotor.Thegland(fortherubber-insulatedcable,itisbell-shapedhole;whileforconduitcableentry,itisapipe-th
