牛津英语7BUnit6Pets单元分析、课时教案及练习
一、教材分析：
本单元的主题有关宠物，以ComicStrip部分通过两只小狗的对话，引出养宠物这一主题，激发了学生对本单元的兴趣，唤起他们养宠物的欲望，也引出了情态动词shouldandmust---本单元的语法重点。
紧随其后的Welcometotheunit中为我们展示了动物名称及典型特征的图片，阅读部分以Millie最喜爱的有关宠物的诗展开，让同学们了解诗歌的押韵规律、重音和语调。
词汇部分为学生们介绍了某些动物的特征，能够区分不同的动物，并且用恰当的名词和动词描述动物的外表和特征。
语法部分是认知和理解如何恰当地使用祈使句，用情态动词must和should来表示责职和责任。
综合技能以一篇描述金鱼的文章中找出金鱼的具体特征，听录音，获取信息完成对话。
语音技能部分介绍了句子中常见的重音模式和掌握句子重音的概念。
中心任务以描述宠物的生活方式，包括饮食习惯、住所及爱好为引导，写一篇有关自己最喜爱的宠物的文章，旨在培养学生的写作能力。
检测部分以Simon和Millie的对话为例，进一步讨论有关宠物的特性，更好地了解动物的生活习惯，并检测本单元对祈使句和情态动词的认知。
二、教学目标：
通过本单元的学习，学会常见宠物的名称和特征，并用名词、动词和形容词从外表、特点和性格方面来描述某些动物的特征，并学会使用恰当的情态动词来发布指令，同时掌握情态动词的肯定形式和否定形式。
就情感态度与文化意识方面而言,本单元通过介绍自己特别喜爱的动物来培养学生热爱动物和保护动物的情感意识。
三、教学重点和难点

2.用所学词汇来谈论宠物及喜欢的原因；
教学难点：
1.用所学知识来写一篇文章。
2.诗歌的押韵规律，重音和语调
3.恰当地使用祈使句和情态动词mustandshould
四、学情分析和教学建议
学情分析：
本单元围绕Pets这一话题展开，使我们知道宠物虽然能给人类带来快乐，但是宠物需要细心的照顾和关心，从而培养我们的责任感和爱心。
通过分组交流、合作、收集、总结等方式，对宠物的特征进行描述，并运用所学的知识把自己的宠物介绍给被人。
对学生来说一点都不陌生，就目前的学生来说，他们的英语词汇已经比较丰富，口头表达也到了一定的水平，所以学生可以对他们喜欢的宠物或知道的宠物描述时可以畅所欲言，在交流中更能激起智慧的火花，唤起他们爱护和保护动物的激情。
教学建议：
Comicstrip和Welcometotheunit主要是活跃课堂气氛，起着引导的作用，有利于提高学生的兴趣，为进入下一步的学习做好铺垫。
Reading是整个单元的主体部分，根据内容分为诗歌和习题两个部分。
诗歌部分建议采用多媒体来展现动物的图片，习题部分建议让学生进行回忆、联想，训练学生的发散思维。
Vocabulary专门归纳了一些关于动物特性的一些词汇。
Grammar是整个单元的核心部分，建议在讲授新的知识的时候让学生参与到其中，并适当地引导他们自己探索、总结，这样可以培养学生的自主学习能力，也能加快他们掌握的速度，加深他们的印象。
Integratedskills是整个单元的综合运用部分。
本部分的内容是对听说读写能力的综合训练。
Pronuciation是句子重音的练习以及识别句中常见的重音模式。
Maintask、Checkout是训练学生的写作能力和自我检测能力，通过创设情景让学生学会仔细观察、收集资料，为写作做好铺垫。
再通过自我检测让学生、教师了解学生的掌握情况，好为下一步的学习做好准备。

新课程提出教师要善于结合实际教学需要,灵活地和有创造性地使用教材,对教材的内容、编排顺序等方面进行适当地调整和整合。
