AnothertheorycomesfromarecentstudybyDavidGearyandDrewBaileyfromtheUniversityofMissouri,US.Theylookedattherelationshipbetweenbrainsizeandsocialenvironmentbetween1.9millionand10,000yearsago,whenthesocialenvironmentwasbecomingincreasinglycomplex.Theyfoundthatbrainsizedecreasedaspopulationdensity(密度)increased.
