中间的没看,光看了看目录的标题觉得还挺有调理的,导师一般也不会一个字一个字的看你的中间内容,差不多就行了,我也就是自己读着觉得改的,你仅作参考哈,有可能有改的不对的,你自己再斟酌

1Introduction

2.1Thebriefdefinitionofgroupwork

Cooperativestudyappearedin1970sinAmerica,andatthebeginningitwascarriedoutandintroducedbyDavidKoonts.Cooperativestudyisanimportantstudypatternadvocatedbynewcurriculumreforminourcountryandgroupworkisitsbasicpattern[1].GroupworkisapopularactivityusedintheEnglishteachingofjuniorhighschool.

Aseveryoneknows,groupworkisamethod,astrategyinwhichcooperativemembersinthesamesmallgroupworktogethertoachieveacommongoal.Generallyspeaking,thegroupworkisbasedonthelearninggroup,andusingtheinteractionbetweendynamicfactorsinteachingsystematically,topromotestudents’studylevel.And,theevaluationstandardofthegroupworkisthegroup’sachievement,notindividual’s.Groupsandtheteacherfinishtheteachinggoaltogether.AsIsraelSharon(Sharan1990)oftheTelAvivUniversity,whowasafamouseducationalpsychologisthavesaidthat:

“groupworkistoorganizeandpromotethegeneraltermofaseriesofclassroomteachingmethod.Thecooperationduringthegroupworkofstudentsisthebasiccharacteristicofallthesemethods.Intheclass,thecooperationofthepartnersispresentthroughthegroupwork.Usually,therewillbethreetofivestudentsinonegroup.Thegroupactsasaunitofsocialorganization,wherestudentscarryoutthestudyduringthecommunicationandinteraction,aswellasresearchbygroupmembers”[2].So,Theconnotationofgroupworkincludesthefollowingaspects:

Firstly,groupworklearningisalearninggroupforthebasicformofateachingandlearningactivities;Secondly,cooperativelearningisakindofteachingactivitieswhichbasedonthedynamicInteractionandcooperationofteaching;Thirdly,groupworkisakindofgoal-orientedteachingandlearningactivities;Finally,groupworkisakindofteachingactivitiesbasedonthegroupresults.

Fromabove,thebasiccharacteristicsofgroupworkcanbesummarizedasfollowing:

First,Groupworkisateachingactivitywhichbasedongroupactivities;

Second,Groupworkisacooperationandcollaborationactivitybetweencompanions.

Third,Groupworkisagoal-orientedactivity;

Forth,Groupworkchangesthecompetitionbetweenindividualsintogroups;

Fifth,Groupworkisanactivitywhichdesignedbytheteacher.Duringtheactivity,teachingwillassignthelearningtasktothestudents,andcontroltheteachingprocess.

Itcanbeseenclearlythatgroupworkinteachinghasabeneficialeffectonstudents.Juniorhighschoolstudentsarehavethecharacteristics,suchaslovingtodotalking,active,fondofimitationandperformanceandsoon.Sothegroupworkisimportantforteaching,especiallyforEnglishteaching.Whenstudentsparticipateinthegroupwork,theywillcooperatewitheachother,whichinasocialway.AndEnglishisasociallanguage.Onthisside,workingingroupswillbenefitstudentsnotonlyonthesocialandEnglishspeaking,butalsothestudents’psychology.Groupworkrequiresstudentstospeaking,tochangetheiropinions.Andstudentswouldtobeaskedtoexplaininformationasclearastheycan.Thereisnodoubtthatstudentswillgetmorepositiveviewpointsthroughgroupwork.ItgivesstudentsopportunitiestohelpeachotherindifferentEnglishlevels,andmakesitpossibleforstudentstolearnalltogetherratherthanstudyfromthetextbookorteacheralone.

Forteachers,groupworkmakesitpossibletoinstructstudentsingroupsratherthanteachthewholeclassatthesametime.Thisgivesthepossibilityforteachertoknowthestudentsbetterthanbefore.Anditcanhelpteacherknowthestudents’weakspotsefficiently.Asaresultofthis,teachercanmaketheirteachingstepssmoothlyandorganizetheteachingtimeefficiently.Andofcourse,italsocanprotectteachers’voiceatthesametime.

2.2Theorganizationalstrategiesofgroupwork

AsthedefinitionofthegroupworkinEnglishteachinghasbeenintroducedabove,thenextimportantthingisabouthowtoperformitefficiently.Thispointismainlydependsontheconstitutor’sorganizationalstrategies.Forthisreason,inthesection,theimportantpointsthatteachershouldthinkof,therolethatteacherplaysandtheprocedureofgroupworkwillbedetailed.

2.2.1Theimportantpointsthatteachershouldthinkof

TomakesurethegroupworkinEnglishteachingcanbeputintoeffect,teachershouldthinkofthefollowingimportantpoints:

(1)Groupingmethods:

TocarryoutthegroupworkinEnglishteaching,thefirstthingistodividethestudentsintoseveralgroups.Teachersshouldpayattentiontothegroupingmethods.

Firstoneisaboutthesizeofthegroup.Thenumberofthelearninggroupisusuallyeven,generallybasedonthestudymutualgroupsoftwostudents(helpeachotherandlearntogether).Thenaccordingtothesizeoftheclass,dividethewholeclassintofourtotengroups.Duringthegroupworktime,teachershouldchoosedifferentsizeofgroupsaccordingtothelearninggoalsandthekindofthequestions.Sometimesteacherwillaskstudentstolearninbiggroupsaswellassometimeswillbesmallgroups(thegroupoftwoormore).

Thesecondoneisaboutthecollocationofthemembersingroups.Teachersmustcollocatemembersofeachgroupelaborately.Itisnotbeenadvocatedtomakeupgroupsfreelybystudentsthemselves.Andstudents’wishesforpartnersonlycanbeconsideredasareference.Teachersshouldcollocategroupsaccordingtothestudent'sEnglishlevels,learningabilities,hobbies,personalityandsoon.Teachersmaytrytheirbesttomakeeverygroupbalance,andhigh-levelandlow-level,boysandgirls,extrovertsandintrovertsshouldbemixedineachgroup.Atthesametime,teachersshouldnev
