教材分析
本单元学习的主题是谈论和描述人物在过去做的事情。
教学内容主要是围绕张鹏给John打电话，了解John没有上学的原因，并去John的家里探望，分享John在刚刚过去的五一假期旅游的照片这些情景来展开的。
教学重点是能听、说、读、写核心句型“Wheredidyougo?
”“—Didyou…?
—Yes,wedid./No,wedidn’t.”“Howdidyougothere?
”并能听、说、读、写短语：
rodeahorse,rodeabike,wentcamping,wentfishing,hurtmyfoot,tookpictures,wentswimming,atefreshfood,boughtgifts

歌曲可以激发学生的学习兴趣，引入假期这个话题。
以师生互动游戏的方式简单复习动词原形与其过去式的转换，回顾上个单元重点知识。
通过引导学生观察并讨论图片，自然地引出短语“theLabourDayholiday”,并通过问答的方式引出本课讨论话题。
