AllsubmissionstotheIETResearchJournalsshouldbeuploadedusingManuscriptCentral.

OriginalpapersshouldbesubmittedasasinglePDFfilethatincludesallfiguresandtables.Thefollowingformatsareacceptablefororiginalpapers:

Forpapersthatcontainamathematicalmodel（describedinordinarydifferentialequations）,IETSystemsBiologyofferstheopportunityforspecialistrefereeingofsucharticlesplusonlinepublicationofliveversionsofthemodelsforacceptedmanuscripts.

Format

Papersmustbetypedinafontsizenosmallerthan10pt,andpresentedinsinglecolumnformatwithdoublelinespacingononesideA4paper.Allpagesshouldbenumbered.

Authorsshouldnotcopytheformatofthepublishedjournal.AllacceptedpaperswillbeeditedintotheIETResearchJournalshouse-style.

Language,spellingandgrammar

AllpapersmustbewritteninUKEnglish.IfEnglishisnotyourfirstlanguage,youshouldaskanEnglish-speakingcolleaguetoproofreadyourpaper.Papersthatfailtomeetbasicstandardsofliteracyarelikelytobedeclinedimmediatelybytheeditors.

Acronymsandabbreviations

Acronymsandabbreviationsshouldbeclearlydefinedontheirfirstoccurrenceinthetextbywritingthetermoutinfullandfollowingitwiththeabbreviationinroundbrackets.

Title

Thisshouldbeconcisebutinformativeandshouldnotincludeasubtitle.Titlesshouldnotbeginwithwordssuchas"a","novel","new"or"the".

Authoraffiliations

Theseshouldimmediatelyfollowthetitle.Formultiple-authoredarticles,listthenamesofalltheauthors,followedbythefullpostalandemailaddresses,usingidentifierstolinkanauthorwithanaddresswherenecessary.Ifanauthor'spresentaddressisdifferentfromtheaddressatwhichtheworkwascarriedout,thisshouldbegivenasafootnote.
