Eachofmyfivekidstookswimminglessonsandlearnedallthedifferentswimmingstrokes(姿势).Theylaterjoinedtheswimmingteamandcompetedinmeets.Mydaughterevenbecamealifeguardatthetownpool.Isatbackandhappilytookitallin!

AsmuchasIwouldhavelikedtohavelifestandstill,itdoesn’t.Mychildrenoutgrewtheirpooldaysandmovedon.Butthepoolwasstillfourblocksfrommyhome,soIbegantotakeupswimmingagain.AnditwasfarbetterthanIevercouldhaveimagined.IgotsomuchoutofitthatIjoinedthelocalpoolsoIcouldswimyear-round.WheneverIswam,Iwouldalwayscomeoutfeelingphysicallyandmentallyrefreshed.IoftenfeltthatifIlookedhardenough,IwouldbeabletoseealloftheworriesandproblemsI’vehadinlife,sittingatthebottomofthepool!
