　　countriesaremakingjointeffortstoaddresstheissueof

　　globalwarming,economistsareseekingsolutionstofinancial

　　crisesthatrageinaparticularregionbutnonetheless

　　crippletheworldeconomy,andpoliticiansanddiplomatsare

　　gettingtogethertodiscusstheissueofcombatingterrorism.

　　arebeingsloshedintoonelargemeltingpotofhumanity.in

　　disturbanceinoneplaceislikelytoimpactotherpartsof

　　theglobe.wehavebeguntorealizethataworlddivided

　　cannotendure.

　　chinaisnowactivelyintegratingintotheworld.ourrecent

　　entrytothewtoisagoodexample.fordecades,wehavetaken

　　prideinbeingself-reliant,butnowwerealizetheimportance

　　ofparticipatinginandcontributingtoabroadereconomic

　　order.fromaprecariousroleintheworldarenatoour

　　presentwtomembership,wehavecomealongway.

　　butwhatdoesthewayaheadlooklike?

insomepartsofthe

　　worldpeoplearedemonstratingagainstglobalization.arethey

　　justified,then,incriticizingtheglobalizingworld?

　　ofnarrowingthegapbetweentherichandthepoor,theysay,　　globalizationenablesthedevelopednationstoswallowthe　　developingnationswealthindebtsandinterest.　　globalization,theyargue,shouldbeaboutacommoninterest　　ineveryothernationseconomichealth.　　weareremindedbykarlmarxthatcapitalgoesbeyondnational　　bordersandeludescontrolfromanyotherentity.thishas　　becomeareality.multinationalcorporationsareseekingthe　　lowestcost,thelargestmarket,andthemostfavourable　　policy.theyareoftenpowerfullobbyistsingovernment　　decision-making,ruthlessexpansionistsintheglobalmarket　　andadevastatingpresencetolocalbusinesses.
