2.1FundamentalState基本情况
在第一课时的基础上学生已基本掌握了why和where引导的特殊疑问的问句与答语，用because引导答句，说明原因，在本单元的话题下because引导的从句几乎都是系表结构的句子。
在第一节听说课的反复操练下，学生已经比较熟悉该句型的用法，上口也较为熟练。
因此，本课时的学习任务比较轻松，大部分学生都能参与话题，拓展话题。
在语言输出的基础上，教师要把教学的重点落到归纳总结上，对本单元目标句型进行语法梳理，通过GrammarFocus的集中归纳向学生呈现重难点，强调语言结构，在3a、3b的任务中学生的语言学习输出由词过渡到句，最后在3c的任务中完成开放性的语言输出任务，在时间允许的情况下，可以让学生有书面的输出。
2.2KnowledgeReserve知识储备
学生通过前4个单元的学习，已经能熟练掌握一般现在时态，在本单元“谈论动物”、“谈论喜好”的话题下，通过第一课时的学习，学生已经储备了“Why…?
Because….”“Wherearetheyfrom?
They’refrom….”的基本句型，在本课时的教学中要求学生能整合前面学习的内容，进行多个话轮的对话输出，并能理解梳理SectionA部分的语法知识。
2.3Classdata本班实际
本班学生有比较明确的学习目的，能够在小组活动中互相帮助，积极与他人合作，敢于用英语进行表达。
本课时为本单元的第二课时，主要对本单元第一课时所学话题目标语句进行梳理和巩固。
以谈论家里的宠物为切入点，呈现并复习基本语句“He’sverysmart.”“Whydon’tyoulikeher?
Becauseshe’skindofboring.”。
本课时主要通过grammarfocus句型展示，让学生学会观察并分析，梳理出本单元目标句型的重难点，引导学生理解并掌握由“Why”引导的特殊疑问句的不同人称，肯定和否定句型的构成，夯实“Because”引导答语的语言知识。
同时呈现和学习程度副词kindof,very,really，alot的基本用法。
教师应该尽量创设情景，拓展思路，必要时帮助学生用英语进行准确表达。
