1.教材分析

本单元以Weekendactivities为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容。

旨在通过单元教学使学生掌握一些表示过去动作的词汇,学习一般过去时的用法;并在此基础上学会描述自己或他人在“最近的过去”所做的事。

SectionA部分共设计了9个任务型活动。

1a要求学生读图后将所给表动作的词组与相应图片配对,使学生初步了解动词的过去式形式;1b要求学生听录音并根据所获信息将所给表示动作发生时间的名词填入相应的图中;1c要求学生在教师指导下,以pairwork的形式口头练习图片中Whatdidyoudolastweekend句型,初步学习询问过去发生事件的句型;2a要求学生听录音后根据录音中的内容画出所听到的描述过去活动的词汇;2b要求学生听录音并根据录音,在2a中相应的横线上填写代表示行为人名字的字母;2c要求学生根据所给表示动作、行为的短语操练所给对话;3a要求学生用所给描述过去动作、行为的短语填空,完成三个短对话;3b要求学生用pairwork形式就Ming’s,Tony’s,Sarah’sweekend展开问答练习;4要求学生通过游戏的形式谈论过去所做的事。

学生先用图画形式描述自己上周末所做的事,然后让其他同学通过提问猜测。

SectionB部分共设计了9个任务型活动。

1a要求学生将所给描述Sally和Jim昨天所做的事的短语与相应图片配对;1b要求学生根据自己的好恶对1a图片中所描述的活动作出判断并用smileyfaces标出;2a要求学生听一段谈论Sally和Jim上星期所做的事的录音并在表格中写出二人所做的事;2b要求学生以pairwork形式进行角色表演活动,谈论有关SallyandJim上星期所做的事;2c要求学生谈论自己在上星期所做的事;3a要求学生阅读一篇关于孩子们周末活动情况调查的短文并圈出或划出其中他们喜欢或不喜欢做的事;3b要求学生根据所供图画中描述的作者在周末所做的事的信息填空并完成短文;3c要求学生根据课文写一篇有关自己上星期活动的短文;4要求学生通过游戏活动的方式展开训练:

学生假定自己是一位名人,写出自己在上周末所做的事,并描述给小组成员;小组成员利用提问方式猜测该生身份。

SelfCheck部分共设计了3项任务。

1要求学生辨认并复习所学词汇;2要求学生在自己的词汇表中添加五个新词汇;3要求学生先阅读一篇有关OldHenry周末活动情况的小故事,然后写一则自己如何帮助OldHenry解决问题的报道,介绍自己这天所做的事。

GrammarFocus部分归纳学习一般过去时的用法及动词过去式的构成。
