Acontinuanceinaplacewhereeverythingremindedherofformerdelightwasexactlywhatsuitedhermind.Inseasonsofcheerfulness,notempercouldbemorecheerfulthanhers,orpossess,inagreaterdegree,thatsanguineexpectationofhappinesswhichishappinessitself.Butinsorrowshemustbeequallycarriedawaybyherfancy,andasfarbeyondconsolationasinpleasureshewasbeyondalloy.
