二、定语从句的讲解

1.定语从句:

是一个句子来做定语,来修饰主句中一个名词或代词的从句;被定语从句修饰的词叫先行词(通常位于定语从句之前),引导定语从句的有关系代词(that,which,who,whom,whose)和关系副词(when,where,why)。

2.定语从句的基本结构:

先行词+关系词+定语从句

3.关系代词的功用

that:

既可指人也可指物

who:

只能指人

which:

只能指物

whose:

表示“所属关系”或“整体与部分关系”,翻译成“……的”

例如:

(that和who都可指人)

一、宾语从句的讲解:

1.宾语从句:

在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句。

2.宾语从句三要素:

连接词、时态和语序。

3.连接词:

that,if/whether,who,where,how等

4.if,whether在宾语从句中的区别

在whether…ornot结构中不能用if替换

5.时态:

(1)主句用一般现在时,从句可用任意时态。

(2)主句用过去时,从句用过去某个时态。

(3)主句用过去时,从句是客观真理时,只用一般现在时。

6.语序(必考)

必须是陈述语序,即:

连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分

如:

Theywantedtoknowwhattheycandoforus.

一、状语从句的讲解

1.时间状语从句

(1)引导词:

when,as,while,assoonas,before,after,since,till,until

(2)when,while和as的区别:

when引导的从句的谓语动词可以是延续性的,也可以是瞬间动词。

while引导的从句的谓语动词必须是延续性的,并强调主句和从句的动作同时发生。

并且while有时还可以表示对比。

as表示“一边……一边”,as引导的动作是延续性的动作,一般用于主句和从句动作同时发生;as也可以强调一先一后。

(3)时态:

主将从现

2.条件状语从句

(1)引导词:

if,unless

(2)时态:

主将从现

3.原因状语从句

(1)引导词:

because,as,since,for

(2)区别:

because语气最强,用来回答why的提问。

当原因是显而易见或者已为人所知时,用as或者since.有逗号时要用for.

4.目的状语从句

引导词:

that,sothat,so…that,inorderthat

5.结果状语从句

引导词:

sothat,so…that,such…that,somuch/many…that

比较so和such

其规律由so与such的不同性质决定。

such是形容词,修饰名词,so是副词,只能修饰形容词或者副词。

So还可表示数量的形容词many,few,much,little连用,形成固定搭配。
