5“Mymother-in-lawchokedonapieceofturkey,”answeredafranticColleenRohrer.“We’vetriedtheHeimlichmaneuver,butit’snotworking.”BollreachedaroundPat’sabdomenandpulledsharplyupwardwithhisfists.Nothinghappened.Movingquickly,heliftedPatupandontothefloortogetherintoabetterposition.TwiceagainhetriedtheHeimlich,butshedidn’trespond.
