Herfather,Otto,theonlysurvivoramongthosewhohidinAnnex,returnedtoAmsterdamafterthewar.Hewasdeeplymovedbyhisdaughter'descriptionsoflifeinAnnexandherfeelingsaboutherfamilyandotherresidents.Hedevotedtherestofhislifetosharingherstorywiththeworldsothatthesametragedythathappenedtohisfamilymightneverberepeated.Throughhercourage,herhope,andherunshakablefaithinthegoodnessofpeople,hershortlifeleftalonglegacy（遗产）,touchingandinspiringgenerationaftergenerationofpeopleshenevermet.
