Thisunitsurroundsthetopic“Poems”todevelopalltheteachingactivitiesincludinglistening,speaking,readingandwriting.ChinesePoemsarequitefamiliartoSswhileEnglishpoemsarequitestrangeanddifficultinmostSs’mind.SothistopicistoletSsgointotheworldofEnglishPoemsanddevelopinterest.Thecontentvariesfromfirstknowing,talkingaboutwhypeoplewritepoemsandsomebasicknowledgeaboutpoems（kinds,characteristics）.Thislessonfocusesontwokindsofpoems:

nurseryrhymesandlistpoems.ItishopedthatthroughthisunitSsinitiallyknowpoemsandmasterthebasiccommonsenseoftheliteratureforms,thereforeSscanwritesomesimplepoems.
