Mr.TiroleworksattheToulouseSchoolofEconomicsinToulouse,FranceHeis61yearsold.Forabout30years.Mr.Tirolehasresearchedperiodswhenmarketsfailed,thatis,whentheydidnotprovidegoodresultsinpriceandcompetition.Helookedathowasmallnumberoflargecompanies,orevenasinglecompany,canstronglyinfluenceindustries.Bankingandtelecommunicationsweamongtheindustrieshestudied.
