   Thatparticularday,mybrotherandIsatthroughbothmoviestwice,tryingtoescapetheheat.Weboughtthreebagsofpopcornandthreesodaseach.Then,wesatandwatchedTheMusicManfollowedbyTheManWhoShot LibertyValance.We’dalreadyseenthesecondmovieoncebefore.IthadbeenatthetheatersinceJanuary,becauseMr.BellowlovedanythingwithJohnWayneinit.

Weleftthetheateraround8,justbeforetheeveningshowsbegan.Butwereturnedthenextdayandsawthesametwomoviesagain,twicemore.Andwe did itthenextday too.Finally,onthefourthday,theheatwavebroke.
