Abstract
Thepresentstudypresentsadetailedreportofaprojectimplementedtosolvetheproblemthatmostofmystudentscan'trememberthenewwords.Itishypothesizedthatlearners'memorywillbegreatlyincreasedbyabetterorganizationinthisrespect.Thishypothesisisverifiedbyafour-weekpractiseofwell-organizedactivities.
Amongthemethodsofscientificinvestigationusedareanalyticmethod,causeanalysis,interviewandbrainstorming.

Problemidentification:
First,Iidentifyaproblembasedonmyteachingexperience.Thatis:
AlthoughIspendmuchtimeteachingthestudentstolearnEnglish,andalthoughIusemanymethodstomakethemshowinterestinEnglish,someofthemjustshowalittleinterestinit.
Iexaminedmyproblemscientificallytoseewhetheritisresearchable.Idiscussedandagreedontheproblemwiththetuthor.Atthesametime,Iworkedoutthetimetableofmyproject.(toSeeAppendix).
Second,Iusedseveralmethodsofproblemanalysistoanalyzetheproblem.(toseeAppendix)Theyaretheanalyticmethod,causeanalysis,interviewandbrainstorming.Throughtheproblemanalysis,Ihavemadeupmymindtosolvetheproblem.

ItishypothesizedthatstudentswilllearnnewwordsbyheartifIcanguidetheclasstoremembernewwords.
3.Projectrationale
1)Theroleofspeakinginclassanditspurpose-Iwouldliketogivethepurposeofcommunication,makingitclosetoreal-life.Thismeansthatthestudentsshouldfeelrelaxedandfreeinclass.Theyshouldalsoseethatspeakingtotheirpeershasapurposeanddoesnothavetobeevaluatedbytheteacherallthetime.Theemphasisshouldshiftfromaccuracytofluency.
2)Theroleofthestudents-Iwouldlikethestudentstofeelthatlearningisnotacompetitiveone,butacollaborativeendeavour.Theyshouldcometorealizethattheycanlearnfromeachotherandhelpeachother,especiallyinspeakingasitisnotaskilltheycanpracticeontheirown.
3)Theroleoftheteacher-Studentsshouldrealizethattheteacherhasmanyrolesintheclassroom,notjustthatofevaluator,Iwouldliketodemonstratethesedifferentrolessothatstudentsrealizewhentheteachertasksamajorinstructionalroleinclassandwhenshetakesonlyaminorhelpingrole.Iwouldlikestudentstogetusedtobeingresponsiblefortheirownlearningandnotdependingontheteacherallthetime.
4)Thetypesofclasstasksused-Ithinkalloftheabovecanbedealtwithbydesigningandusingappropriatetasksinthelesson.Ifstudentshavetodoinformation-gaptasks,whichrequirethemtogaininformationfromtheirpartnerbymeansofquestioningandlisteningandtogiveinformationtotheirpartnerbylisteningandrespondingadequatelytoquestions,Ifeeltheycanbeshownthevalueofcommunicatingwiththeirpeers.
4.NewWordsDesign
Idesignedanadequateamountofactivitiestotestthehypothesis.Iftheactivitiesofrememberingnewwordsarebetterdesigned,thestudentswilllearnEnglishhardandwell.
InmyprojectIdecidetoimprovemytechniquesofteachinghowtoremembernewwords.

Infourweeks,Iwanttoknowwhichclasswillwinintheexamination.Finally,thestudentsfromclass1whichhavebeentaughthowtorememberthenewwordsshowmoreinterestinEnglishthanthestudentsinClass3whohaven’tbeentaughthowtorememberthewords.ThescoreofClass1isalsohigherthanthatofClass3.Inclass1,thereare46studentssayingthatEnglishisveryeasyandinteresting,theyareinterestedinit,butinClass3,thereare24studentssayingthattheyareinterestedinEnglish.Afteranexamination,thescoreofClass1is89.5,whilethescoreofClass3is80.3.
