AsthehurricaneboredownTuesdayonBarbuda,atinyislandof1,400people,windsofatleast146milesanhourknockedoutUSwindmeasuringinstrumentsonneighboringAntigua,25milestothesouth.Therewasanunofficialreportofgustsupto175milesanhouronAntigua.

"It'slikeamillionghostshowlingoutside,"saidJackieButler,whoteachesinDavie,insouthFlorida.ShegotcaughtwhilevacationinginBarbudawithherhusbandandfivechildren,includingtheir2-month-olddaughter.
