一、教材分析（课题说明）

本课TheBirthOfBlueJeans是语文出版社、中等职业教育课程改革国家规划教材《英语（提高版）》教材内容。

TheBirthOfBlueJeans是一篇综合性的说明文，介绍了当前时尚文化中的服饰文化——牛仔裤的诞生以及发展过程。

全文内容安排有序，脉络清晰，衔接紧密，详略得当，推进自然。

语言表达生动形象，耐人寻味，字里行间处处透出了牛仔裤的独特，培养学生热爱生活和正确的审美观。

二、学生分析

授课班级的学生为高二年级化工专业的学生。

尽管学生已学过1000多个词汇，但大部分学生掌握的词汇量仍然很小，阅读理解水平和表达能力较差。

三、教法和学法

针对上述情况，本节课我侧重训练学生的阅读技能，在保证学生理解课文内容的前提下，采用情境教学法，举例法，练习法，突出并逐步解决教学重点和难点；利用多媒体同时辅以听、说、读、写，问答、讨论等灵活多样的教学形式，加大课堂密度，渗透更多知识，同时师生互动，发挥教师主导，学生主体作用；并及时给予鼓励和肯定，引导学生围绕时尚，结合自身感受，进行简单的口语表达练习，并掌握重点单词和词组的用法。

采用讨论法，指导法，鼓励和表扬法，向学生介绍阅读方法和技巧，鼓励学生加强练习，采用速读，略读，详读相结合，分组自由讨论等口语训练，逐步培养并不断提高学生的口语表达能力。

五．教学后记

1．设计理念

通过本课课文的学习，意在使学生了解牛仔裤，感受牛仔裤的魅力，表达了对时尚文化的认同和喜爱。

引发学生了解时尚文化的欲望，激起探究史上文化的兴趣，并且培养学生弘扬艰苦朴素的精神，对时尚的正确认识。

通过课堂活动，培养学生学会合作，团结互助的协作精神。

2．设计思路

通过阅读课文和做练习，学生能准确理解文章大意，养成良好的阅读习惯，提高阅读能力，掌握教材及大纲要求的词汇，并顺利完成教材中和课上的习题和问答练习。

3．教学亮点

采用情境教学，利用多媒体教学手段，结合讨论法，练习法，阅读指导法等多种方式教学，学生在实践，参与，体验，交流与合作的氛围中获取知识，引领学生随作者的描述，了解京剧的起源，感受京剧的魅力，领悟传统文化的丰富内涵。
