Aperson,likeamodity,needspackaging.Butgoingtoofarisabsolutelyundesirable.Alittleexaggeration,however,doesnoharmwhenitshowstheperson'suniquequalitiestotheiradvantage.Todisplaypersonalcharminacasualandnaturalway,itisimportantforonetohaveaclearknowledgeofoneself.Amasterpackagerknowshowtointegrateartandnaturewithoutanytracesofembellishment,sothatthepersonsopackagedisnomoditybutahumanbeing,livelyandlovely.Ayoungperson,especiallyafemale,radiantwithbeautyandfulloflife,hasallthefavorgrantedbyGod.Anyattempttomakeupwouldbeself-defeating.Youth,however,esandgoesinamomentofdoze.Packagingforthemiddle-agedisprimarilytoconcealthefurrowsploughedbytime.Ifyoustillenjoylife'sexuberanceenoughtoretainself-confidenceandpursuepioneeringwork,youareuniqueinyournaturalqualities,andyourcharmandgracewillremain.Elderlypeoplearebeautifuliftheirriveroflifehasbeen,throughplains,mountainsandjungles,runningitscourseasitshould.Youhavereallylivedyourlifewhichnowarrivesataplacentstageofserenityindifferenttofameorwealth.Thereisnoneedtoresorttohair-dyeing；thesnow-cappedmountainisitselfabeautifulsceneoffairyland.Letyourlookschangefromyoungtooldsynchronizingwiththenaturalageingprocesssoastokeepinharmonywithnature,forharmonyitselfisbeauty,whiletheotherwayroundwillonlyendinunpleasantness.Tobeintheelder'spanyislikereadingathickbookofdeluxeeditionthatfascinatesonesomuchastobereluctanttopartwith.Aslongasonefindswhereonestands,oneknowshowtopackageoneself,justasamodityestablishesitsbrandbytherightpackaging.

Passage4.ALittleGirl
Sittingonagrassygrave,beneathoneofthewindowsofthechurch,wasalittlegirl.Withherheadbentbackshewasgazingupattheskyandsinging,whileoneofherlittlehandswaspointingtoatinycloudthathoveredlikeagoldenfeatheraboveherhead.Thesun,whichhadsuddenlybeeverybright,shiningonherglossyhair,gaveitametallicluster,anditwasdifficulttosaywhatwasthecolor,darkbronzeorblack.Sopletelyabsorbedwassheinwatchingthecloudtowhichherstrangesongorincantationseemedaddressed,thatshedidnotobservemewhenIroseandwenttowardsher.Overherhead,highupintheblue,alarkthatwassoaringtowardsthesamegauzycloudwassinging,asifinrivalry.AsIslowlyapproachedthechild,Icouldseebyherforehead,whichinthesunshineseemedlikeaglobeofpearl,andespeciallybyherplexion,thatsheunmonlylovely.Hereyes,whichatonemomentseemedblue-gray,atanotherviolet,wereshadedbylongblacklashes,curvingbackwardinamostpeculiarway,andthesematchedinhuehereyebrows,andthetressesthatweretossedabouthertenderthroatwerequiveringinthesunlight.AllthisIdidnottakeinatonce;foratfirstIcouldseenothingbutthosequivering,glittering,changefuleyesturnedupintomyface.Graduallytheotherfeatures,especiallythesensitivefull-lippedmouth,grewuponmeasIstoodsilentlygazing.Hereseemedtomeamoreperfectbeautythanhadeveretomeinmyloveliestdreamsofbeauty.Yetitwasnotherbeautysomuchasthelookshegavemethatfascinatedme,meltedme.
小女孩
