FamousBritishphysicistStephenHawkingeventhoughtAIcouldbetheworsteventinthehistoryofourcivilization.“Oncehumansdevelopartificialintelligence,itwilltakeoffandredesignitselfatanalarmingrate.Humanscouldn’tcompeteandwouldbesuperseded,hetoldtheBBC.However,Hawkingsuggested“IbelievewecancreateAIforthegoodoftheworld.Wesimplyneedtobeawareofthedangers,identifythem,employthebestpossiblepracticeandmanagement,andprepareforitsconsequenceswellinadvance.”
