ThelongestflightofSolarImpulse1wasmadeinMayTheplaneflewfromPhoenix,ArizonatoDallas,Texas,adistanceofjustover1,500kilometers.PilotAndreBorschbergsaysSolarImpulse2willbeabletoflymuchlongerdistancesbetweenstops.

12yearsofresearchandtestingwentintobuildingSolarImpulse2.Theresearchersandtestersbelievetheaircraftwillbeabletoflyaroundtheworldin20to25daysandnights.
