OVERVIEW

On9/29/04,aWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessmentwasconductedforDutyFreeAmericasinLaredo,TX.ThisWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessmentwasconductedtodeterminethenumberofaccesspoints,antennatypesandassociatedinstallationhardwarerequired,andtheirrespectivelocationsinthefacilitytomeetthecoveragerequirementsasstatedinthestatementofwork.

ThisreportisbaseduponthespecificfindingsoftheWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessment,aswellascoveragerequirementfactsasknownatthetimeandasprovidedintheScopeofWork.AllfindingswillapplytoDutyFreeAmericasSiteCoverageAssessmentunlessDutyFreeAmericas:

∙Physicallychangesorremodelsthesitewithneworrearrangedstructuralitems

∙ChangesthestackingorstorageofcertainitemsthataffectsRFpropagation

∙InstallsadditionalequipmentemittingelectromagneticradiationfieldsaffectingRFpropagation

ThisWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessmentReportcontainsallrequiredspecificationstofacilitatetheinstallationandimplementationoftheWireless802.11CommunicationsSystemandachievethedesiredcoverage.ThisreportistobeusedbytheSystemArchitectasatooltoincorporateintotheirdesignthenumberofaccesspoints,antennatypesrequiredandtheirrespectivelocationsinthefacility.TheNetworkCableCo.andtheRFInstallationTeamcanalsousethisreporttoinstallalltherequiredcomponentsasidentifiedbymodelorspecificationnumber,location,andterminationpoints.

SpecificTasksPerformedDuringtheWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessment:

▪PerformwalkthroughoffacilitytoverifycoverageareaasdefinedintheScopeofWork.

▪Determinedthenumberofaccesspoints,antennatypes,mountingrequirementsandcablingrequirements(data&power)requiredtoprovidethedesiredwirelesscoverageandtheirrespectivelocationsinthefacility.

▪DeterminetheproperRFchannelassignmentsandRFpowersettingsforeachaccesspoint.

▪PerformabesteffortidentificationofanydetectedpotentialsourcesofRFinterferencethatcouldimpactthewirelessnetworkperformance.

▪Surveytheexistingnetworkconnectionsandequipmenttoconfirmthatminimalacceptablehardwareandsoftwarerequirementsaremet.

▪Evaluationofspaceandelectricalrequirements.

▪Physicallytagallaccesspointandantennalocations.

▪ProvideacompletedWirelessSiteSurveyCoverageAssessmentReport.
