1.0Scope

Theprocedureisaimedtodescribetherotatingequipment,likepump,compressor,etcinSaudiKayanU&OProject.

Theinstallationshouldstrictlyfollowalltheapplicablespecification,standard,procedure（includingHSEPlan）,drawingandinstallationmanualfromvendor.Ifthereisanyconflictbetweenthisprocedureanddrawingrequirementforthespecialrequirementfromequipmentspecification,thelattershallgovern.Atthesametime,theprocedureshallconformtotherequirementfromFLOURCO.LTD.

3.0GENERAL

3.1Theinspectionworkcomplywithrelevantprojectspecifications，drawings，manufacturer’sdocumentsandapplicablecodesorlocalregulations.

3.2Manufacture’sdocuments，drawingsandinstallationinstructionswillbeusedasapartofthisprocedure.

3.3Equipmenttobeassembledatsite，suchaslargepumpwillbeinstalledinaccordancewiththeinstallationinstructionsuppliedbyequipmentmanufacturesandreferenceddocumentation.

4.2Preparation

4.2.1StudytheContract,specifications,andrelevantcodestoensurethattheworkscope,workquantity,andconstructionschedulearethoroughlyunderstood.

4.3InspectionofFoundationandFoundationBolts

Removealltheforeignmattersincludingformworks,debris,gravel,sand,andprotectivesleevesonbolts,etc.Ifoilorgreaseexistsonthesurfacesandisunabletobecleaned,removeitusingbrush.

Aftercheckagainstrelevantdrawingsandtemplates,ConstructionEngineer（supervisor）shallcarryouttheinspection,“EquipmentCheckListPriortoInstallation”forthefollowingitems:

C.Curingtimeisadequateornotaftertheformworksareremovedfromthefoundation?

D.Thegroutingblockshallbedoneonthefoundation.Adjusttheheightofgroutingblocktomakesurethetopelevationofpadidenticalwiththeelevationofequipmentbaseplateanditslevelnessshallbedoneadequately.Thecompletedgroutingblockmustbecuredinaccordancewithmaterialspecifications.

E.Checkifthesurfaceofthefoundationhasalreadybeenchipped.Thesurfaceshallbealsokeptclean.

F.Whetherthesizeandlocationoffoundationboltsareinconformancewithrelevantdrawingsornot?

G.Theprotrusionpartoftheboltsisinconformancewithdrawingsornot?

Alittlebitlongerisacceptable,butnotshorter.

H.Anyinclinationoftheboltsfoundisnotallowed;otherwisetheequipmentbaseplatecannotbefirmlytightenedup.

I.Itmustbefreeofgravel,sand,wastedwaterandotherforeignmaterialsintheholeofreservedanchorbolt,anditsdimension,depthandperpendicularity,etcshallaccordwithdesignrequirement.

4.4EquipmentTransportationandRigging

4.4.1Unpacking,checking,andstorageofequipment

A.Folk-liftsandothermechanicalmethodsarestrictlyprohibitedduringunpackinginordernottodamagetheequipmentanditsaccessoriessuchasprecisioninstrumentsandothersmallborepiping.

B.Inspecttheappearanceoftheequipmenttoseeifanypartsaredamagedimmediatelyafteritisunpacked.Owner’srepresentativeshallwitnesstheinspection,ifnecessary.

C.Checkandcountspecificationandquantityrespectivelyofeachpartanditsaccessories（includingspecialtools）onebyoneinaccordancewiththePackingList.Intheeventthatanyshortageordamagefound,informtheOWNERandthethirdparty,askforre-shipmentandfilloutthereportimmediately.

D.Checkandensurethattheprotectiveandanti-rustingmeasuresforthemachiningsurfacesareadequate.Provideremedialactions,ifrequired.

E.Allthesmallitems,sparepartsandspecialtools,etc.exceptlargeitemsshallbestoredindoorsandclearlylistedformanagement.

F.Protectivemeasures,suchasusingthetarpaulinascoverstopreventfromgettingdampedandforeignmattersfromenteringintotheinteriorofmachine,shallbeprovidedforlargeritemsandparts,whicharestoredoutdoorsandcannotbeinstalledwithinaveryshorttime.

G.Allmovingpartsshallbecoatedwithanti-rustinggreaseandtheshaftshallbeturnedeveryoneweektoavoidtheoilfilmbeingpressedbytheshaftduetoitsdeadweightsuchthatthemetalofshaftwillcontactdirectlywiththatofthebearing,andconsequentlythescratcheswillbeproducedonthecontactingsurfaces.

H.Inspectallthecoolingwaterjackets.Drainoffalltheaccumulatedwater,ifany,dryitwithair,andthenwrapupwithtarpaulintopreventitfromgettingrustedduetoentranceofthemoisture.

4.4.2EquipmentRigging

TheConstructionEngineer（supervisor）shallprepareRiggingPlanincludingtheinformationofcranetype,workingradius,equipmentweight,removalandrestorationofobstructions,transportationroute,etc.

4.4.3InstallationofEquipment

A.Theinstallationoftherotatingequipmentshallbestrictlyinaccordancewithrelevantspecifications.Thecenterofgravityanddimensionsoftheequipmentandfoundationlocationincludingorientationshallbetakenintoconsiderationindeterminingtheriggingmethod.Collisionshallbeavoidedduringliftinginordernottocausethedamageoffoundationboltsandequipmentitself.Ifrequired,theexpensiveinstrumentsandsmallerpipingshallbedismantledinadvance.

B.Theriggingmethodsforgeneralrotatingequipmentareasfollows:

a.Combinationofcraneandchainblock

Attachthechainblocktothehookofthecrane.Usethecranetoaccomplishthelargermovementandchainblockforsmallermovement.

b.Monorail

Monorails,fromwhichaslidingchainblockcanbeattached,arefrequentlylocatedinsidethebuildingforthemaintenancepurposeoftherotatingequipment.Thischainblockcanperformtheupward,downward,leftandrightmovementsasrequired.

c.Roller

Laytworowsofparallelrailroadtiesonthegroundinsidethebuilding,andplacetwopiecesofpipewiththesamediameterontopoftheserailroadtiesasrollers.Useofasledgeorchainblockasameanstopulltheequipmentuptothetopofthefoundation.Hydraulicjacksorchainblockswillsubsequentlybeusedtoperformtheriggingoperation.

C.Uponthecompletionoftheequipmentinstallation,theEquipmentConstructionEngineer（supervisor）shallcarryouttheinspectiontogetherwiththeOWNERorOwner’squalityinspectionrepresentativeandpreparetherecordsaccordingly.

4.5HorizontalAdjustmentofequipment

A.Unlessotherwisespecified，levelingwillbecarriedoutwithaspiritlevelonthemachinedsurfacesofthedriverbaseplate，onthemachinedsurfacesoftheequipmentpedestalsoronthesurfaceoftheflangeonthetopoftheequipment.Thelevelwillbemeasuredinthedirectionoftheshaftandatrightangletotheshaft.Adjustmentwillbemadebyremovingorinsertingshimsbetweenlevelingpadsandbaseplate，However，jackboltswillbeusedifitisprovidewiththeequipment.

B.Themaximumout-of-leveltoleranceshallbe0.05mm/M,unlessotherwisespecified.

4.6GroutingofEquipment

4.6.1Uponthecompletionoftheequipmentriggingpositioning,TheConstructionEngineer（supervisor）shallcarryouttheinspectiontogetherwiththeQualityQCEngineer.Thefoundationsurfacesshallbethoroughlycleanedandsubsequentlywettedbywater,ifrequired.Ifsleevetypefoundationboltsareused,thewateraccumulatedinsidethesleeveshallberemovedanddried.

4.6.2ThematerialofthegroutshallbeinaccordancewiththerequirementsstipulatedintheConstructionContractorrotatingequipmentvendor’sspecification.Ingeneral,non-shrinkagecementorepoxyresinareusedandpouredintothegapsbetweenequipmentbaseplateandfoundationandthespaceinsidethesleeves.

4.6.3Supplementaryillumination

Ifanchorboltisdeliveredwithequipment,andequipmentfoundationisprovidedwithreservedholeforanchorbolt,thereservedholeshallbegrouted（firstgrouting）afterequipmentalignment.Theanchorboltholeshallbefreeofforeignmaterials,itswallshallbesoakedwithwater,anditsbottomshallbefreeofwastedwater.Duringfirstgrouting,keeptheanchorboltstraightandpreventthemobilizationforequipment.Afterfirstgroutingandcuringqualifiedcompletion,implementsecondalignmentinaccordancewithparagraph4.5.Oncethesecondalignmentischeckedqualified,theequipmen
