Atfirst,peoplethoughtthatthecircleswereahoax.Probablyyoungpeopleweremakingthemasajoke,orfarmersweremakingthemtoattracttourists.Toprovethatthecircleswereahoax,peopletriedtomakecirclesexactlyliketheonesthatfarmershadfound.Theycouldnotdoit.Theycouldn’tenterafieldofgrainwithoutleavingtracks,andtheycouldn’tflattenthegrainwithoutbreakingit.
