课程简介:
本课程适用于那些很希望学习适用于国际商务方面的专业英语的国内各类大专院校学生及从事于国际商务领域的工作人员,本书的内容涉及当今国际商务领域的主要方面和实务环节,主要内容有:
国际贸易、外贸融资、金融危机、外国投资、多国公司业务、证券和期货交易、国际债券市场、海运保险、国际招标、商务人事管理等。
全本书共有十个单元,每一单元配有课文、会话、案李研究、补充阅读材料和练习,其内容包括基本专业知识的概述,实务性的材料,以及相关内容的谈话,以兼顾书面文字和口语的不同特点及实际需要。
本书材料均选自近年来国外有关专业教材、商务文件和报刊,内容与文字实用性强、富有新意,具有较强的时代感。
课程教学目的:
通过本阅读课程的学习,让学生了解商务领域的主要方面和各实务环节的一些基本知识及与之相关的英语表达,熟悉并掌握当代商务理论和国际商务实务,为进一步提高学生的听、读、说、写、译的能力,和在实际商务工作环境中应用英语的能力,使其能够在不同的商务活动中正确使用英语打好基础。
教学中应注意的问题:
1、本书材料均选自近年来国外有关专业教材、商务文件和报刊,其理论性和专业性强。
教师在教学过程中结合学生的实际水平,应采用灵活多变、理论联系实践的教学方法,既要帮助学生理解商务理论和实务的基本知识,又要让学生学习商务的专业英语,做到商务理论和专业英语水平同步提高。
2、教学中应充分应用文后的思考题,拓展学生的思维空间,及帮助学生学以至用,提高实际的商务应用能力。

教学中教师应充分应用词汇注解,帮助学生快速有效地提高商务专业英语词汇、为其它听、说、读、写基础课程学习扫除障碍。
