Ayearaftersettinguphislibrary,BolandRickBrooks,afriendandbusinesspartner,launchedLittleFreeLibraryasanonprofitorganizationin2012.Theirgoalwastomakebooksmorewidelyavailablewhilebuildingconnectionswithincommunities.

Theyinspiredabook-sharingrevolution.

LittleFreeLibrariesbegantospreadallovertheplace-fromSalvador,Brazil,toGrandMarais,Minnesota,UnitedStates.

Today,thosewhowanttobuildonecangetfreeinstructionsfromtheLittleFreeLibrarywebsite.
