Alongwithmodernscienceandtechnologydevelopment,thepeopleunceasinglyaremakingthefastertransportationvehicle,thelarge-scalebuilding,thegreaterspanbridge,thehighefficiencypowersetandtheprecisermechanicaldevice.Alltheserequestengineertobeablepreciselytoforecastinthedesignstagetheproductandtheprojecttechnicalperformance,needstobestatic,technicalparameterandsoondynamicstrengthtothestructureaswellastemperaturefield,flowfield,electromagneticfieldandtransfusioncarriesontheanalysiscomputation.Forexampleanalysiscomputationhigh-riseconstructionandgreatspanbridgewhenearthquakereceivestheinfluence,hasalookwhethercanhavethedestructiveaccident;Theanalysiscalculatesthenuclearreactorthetemperaturefield,thedeterminationheattransferandthecoolingsystemarewhetherreasonable;Analyzesinthenewleafbladethehydrodynamicsparameter,enhancesitsoperatingefficiency.Thesellmaysumupasthesolutionphysicsquestioncontrolpartialdifferentialequationsoftenisnotimpossible.

lnengineeringpractice,finiteelementanalysissoftwareandCADsystemintegrationdesignstandardsshouldbeaqualitativeleap,mainlyinthefollowingaspects:

Theincreasedesignfunction,reducesthedesigncost;

Reducesdesignandtheanalysiscycleperiod;

Increaseproductandprojectreliability;

Usestheoptimizeddesign,reducesthematerialtheconsumptionorthecost;

Discoversthelatentquestioninadvancebeforetheproductfactureortheprojectconstruction;

Simulateseachkindofexperimentalplan,reducestheexperimentaltimeandthefunds;

Carriesonthemachineaccidenttoanalyze,searchaccidentcausefactor.

InvigorouslypromotestheCADtechnologytoday,fromthebicycletotheaerospacecraft,alldesignsmanufactureallwillnotbeabletoleavethefiniteelementanalysiscomputation,FEAobtainsthemoreandmorewidespreadvalueintheengineeringdesignandtheanalysis.ThenextchartistheAmericanSanFranciscobaybridgeearthquakerespondsthecomputationthefiniteelementanalysismodel.Thedevelopmentdirectionandonsignificantprogressinternationalearly20thcenturyintheendofthe50's,atthebeginningofthe60'shastheformidablefunctionontheinvestmentmassivemanpowerandthephysicalresourcedevelopmentthefiniteelementanalysisprocedure.Whatismostfamouswas(NASA)entrustsUSbyAmericancountrySpaceAgencyin1965tocalculatetheNASTRANfiniteelementanalysissystemwhichthescientificcompanyandtheBellaerospacesystemcompanydeveloped.

Thissystemdevelopmentuntilnowhadseveraldozenseditions,isinthepresentworldthescaleisbiggest,thefunctionstrongestfiniteelementanalysissystem.Fromatthattimetothepresent,theworldeachplacedevelopmentfacilityandtheuniversityalsodevelopedonebatchofscalessmallerbuttousenimble,thepriceislowerspecial-purposeorgeneralfiniteelementanalysissoftware,mainlyhadGermanASKA,England'sPAFEC,France'scompany'stheandsoonSYSTUS,US'SABQUS,ADINA,ANSYS,BERSAFE,BOSOR,COSMOS,ELAS,MARCandSTARDYNEproduct.NowontheinternationalFEAmethodandthesoftwaredevelopmentpresentsbelowsometendencycharacteristics:

1.developsfromthepurestructuremechanicscomputationtosolvesmanyphysicalfieldsquestionfiniteelementanalysismethodmostearlyiscomesfromthestructurematrixanalysisdevelopment,graduallypromotestotheboard,theshellandtheentityandsoonthecontinualbodysolidmechanicsanalysis,thepracticeprovedthisisoneextremelyeffectivenumericalanalysismethod.Moreovertheoreticallyalsoalreadyproved,solongasusesintobeseparatedsolutionobjectthe

2Progressesfromthesolutionlinearprojectquestiontotheanalysisnon-linearproblemalongwiththescienceandtechnologydevelopment,thelineartheoryalreadybyfarcouldnotsatisfythedesigntherequest.Forexampleinconstructionprofessionhigh-riseconstructionandgreatspanhangingbridgeappearance,requestconsiderationgeometrynon-linearproblemandsoonstructurebigdisplacementandbigstrain;Astronauticsandpowerengineeringhightemperaturepartexistencethermaldeformationandthermalload,alsomustconsiderthematerialthenon-linearproblem;Suchastheplastic,therubberandthecompoundmaterialandsooneachkindofnewmaterialappearance,onlydependsonthequestionwhichthelinearcomputationtheoryisinsufficienttosolvemeets,onlyhasusesthenon-linearfiniteelementalgorithmtobeabletosolve.Itiswellknown,thenon-linearvaluecomputationisverycomplex,itinvolvestotheverymanyspecialmathematicsquestionandtheoperationskill,thanksthegeneralengineeringtechnicalpersonneltograspverymuch.HasspentmassivespecialtyandsoonmanpowerandinvestmentdevelopmentsuchasMARC,ABQUSandADINAforthisrecentyearsoverseassomecompaniestosolutionnon-linearproblemfiniteelementanalysissoftware,andwidelyappliestotheprojectpractice.Thesesoftwarecommoncharacteristicsarehavethehighlyeffectivenon-linearsolutionaswellasrichandthepracticalnon-linearmaterial.Definitely.

modelingandthecomputation,untilsatisfaction,thusenormouslyraisedthedesignlevelandtheefficiency.
