TheMostImportantPersonalQualityofaUniversityStudent

Asthemodernsocietyputsmoreemphasisonpersonaldifferenceandpersonalvalues,itprovidesmoreopportunitiesforstudentstoseeksuccess.However,thefactisthatnoteveryonecansucceed.Successcallsforcertainopportunities,butmoreimportantly,itcallsformanypersonalqualities.Ithinktosucceedinthemodernsociety,onehastohaveadaptabilitybecauseofitsimportanceinstudy,incareer,aswellasinfailures.

Goodadaptabilitycanhelponebecomeasuccessfulstudent.First,adaptabilitycanhelpstudentsmeettherequirementofdifferentcourses.Asweknow,studentshavetotakevariouscourses;somerequiremorereading;othersrequiremoreresearch,forexample.Adaptablestudentscanstudydifferentcoursesindifferentways,thuslearningasmuchaspossible.Besides,adaptabilitycanalsohelpstudentsdealwithdifferentteachers.Teachersdifferalotintheirwaysofteaching.Ifstudentscannotmakenecessarychangestomeetteachingmethodsofdifferentteachers,theycannotbecomesuccessfulstudents.

Goodadaptabilitycanhelponesucceedinone’scareer.Whenonestartsworking,hemayfindthattheworkisverydifferentfromwhatwastaughtintheclassroom.Inthiscase,hemustlearntomakenecessarychangestoreallyapplyknowledgetopractice.Atthesametime,hemaygetdifferentdirectionsfromdifferentbosses,anddifferentrequirementsanddemandsfromdifferentcustomers.Ifonecannotlearntobeflexible,thenhecannotpossiblysucceedinthejob.

Goodadaptabilitycanhelponewinpopularityinthesociety.Besidesourbosses,colleaguesandcustomers,wealsohavetofacemanyotherpeopleinthesociety.Forexample,wehavetomeetourneighborsalmosteveryday,visitourrelativesonimportantholidays,andmeetstrangersinthestreetwheneverweareoutthere.Aspeoplevaryalot,wemayfindsomeofthemholdingdifferentviewsfromusonmanyissues,butwehavetobeadaptable,thatis,sometimesagreewiththem,sometimespersuadethem,ifwewanttogetalongwiththemwell.

Tosumup,ifonewantstodealwithfailures,makesachievementsinthejob,oracquiresasmuchknowledgeaspossible,oneneedsadaptability.Ifonedoesnotlearntobeadaptable,hewillnevermanagetogetusedtothemodernsociety,nottomentionsucceedinit.
