二、形容词比较级的用法
1.形容词的比较级常用来比较两种人或事物,常见的结构为“形容词比较级+than”。
如:
Thisbookismoredifficultthanthatone.
2.两个相同形容词的比较级用and连接,称为双重比较级,意为“越来越……”,用来说明某个事物正处于变化之中。
如:
Ourcityisbecomingmoreandmorebeautiful.
3.常与形容词比较级连用表示比较的程度的副词有:
much,far,alot,alittle,abit等。
如:
Thisfilmisfarmoreinterestingthanthatone.
4.“the+比较级……,the+比较级……”意为“越……就越……”。
Themoreyoupractise,thebetteryouwillspeakEnglish.
提示:
比较中应注意的问题:
1.只有同类事物才能进行比较。
如:
（√）Hismotorcycleisbetterthanmine.
（×）Hismotorcycleisbetterthanme.
2.被比较的事物中不可以包括本身。
如:

三、形容词最高级的用法
1.形容词的最高级常用于比较三个及以上的人或事物,在使用形容词最高级时,前面须加定冠词the,后面常跟比较范围。
如:
Jackistallerthanme.IamtallerthanPeter.
Jackisthetallestamongthreeofus.
Lesson4isthemostimportantofallthelessons.
2.常用“oneof+the+形容词最高级+可数名词复数形式+比较范围”来表示“是……之中最……的之一”。
如:
GuangzhouisoneofthemostbeautifulcitiesinChina.
提示:
当形容词最高级作前置定语修饰名词时,在不影响句意理解的前提下,可省略该名词,
避免意思重复。
如:
ThebluewhaleisthelargestofalltheanimalsonEarth.
