BothofthelanguagesofEnglish&Chinesehavetheirownfeatures,suchasthewords,syntax.Whileinagivencontextthereisalsoclearlydifferent,soifonewanttoachieveasuccessfultranslationhemustknowthatareaclearly.AfterourcountryenteringintoWTOtherearemoreandmorecooperationwithoverseasinbusiness,thentranslatorsplayanimportantrolethroughouttheobject.

Translationisnotjustword-to-word,itconveysthespeakers’sense,implication,andintent.Fortheintentofthespeakers’,thetranslationlanguagemustbeaccurateexpressingthespeakers’meaning.Nida’s“functionalequivalencetheory”istherighttheorytoanalysisbusinessnegotiationEnglish.

Theessayfocuesonintroducingthefeaturesofbusinessnegotiationlanguageandit’stranslation,andfromanalysisthepracticeofbusinessnegotiationlanguagetoavoidthefailingduringthetranslation.

Contentofstudies:

Theresearchshouldfocusonthetitle.ThepurposeofthisessayistofindaneffectivemethodaboutbusinessnegotiationEnglishtranslationandhowtogetasuccessfultranslation.Thethesisconsistsoffivepartsincludingtheintroductionandtheconclusion.

TheintroductionmainlyshowstheimportanceofBNtranslationnowadaysandthemaintranslationtheoryappliedinthisthesis.

ThefirstchapterintroducesthefeaturesofBNlanguagefromthreeaspects,whicharepithiness,professionalityandaccuracy.AndaccordingtothesefeaturesthethesisgivestheBNtranslationcriterions.

ThesecondchapterintroducesE.A.Nida`sFunctionalEquivalenceTheory,andgivesdetailexplainingaboutthetheory.Especially,whatisequivalenceinNida`stheoryandhowtoachievethisequivalence.

ThethirdchaptergivessomeofexamplestoexplainhowthetranslationsachieveequivalenceinBNtranslationfromlexicalandsyntacticlevel.Andfromtheanalysisoftheoppositeexampleswithequivalencetheory,thethesisgivesadvicestoavoidtranslationfault.

TheconclusionsummarizesthewholethesisandsuggestssomerequirementsofBNtranslation.

Abstract

Withthedevelopmentofeconomicglobalization，businessnegotiation（BN）hasbecomeoneimportantpartduringbusinesstrade.ThentranslatorbecomesmoreandmoreimportantininternationalBN.Businesstranslationhasitsownfeatures，whicharedifferentfromthoseofotherkindsoftranslationssuchasliterarytranslation.ThisthesisisanattempttoemployfunctionaltheorytoanalyzebusinesstranslationwhichisdeemedtobethetheorymostsuitableandreasonableforBNtranslation.AftersystematicanalysisthefeaturesofBNEnglish,thethesisdiscussesBNtranslationatlexicalandsyntacticlevels.Finally，withaconsiderableamountofexamples，thethesisdiscussessomespecifictechniquesthataresuitableandusefulforbusinesstranslating.

Thepurposeofthisessayistofindaneffectivemethodaboutbusinessnegotiationtranslationandhowtogetasuccessfultranslation.Thethesisconsistsoffivepartsincludingtheintroductionandtheconclusion.

TheintroductionmainlyshowstheimportanceofBNtranslationnowadaysandthemaintranslationtheoryappliedinthisthesis.ThesecondchapterintroducesthefeaturesofBNlanguagefromthreeaspects,whicharepithiness,professionalityandaccuracy.AndaccordingtothesefeaturesthethesisgivestheBNtranslationcriterions.ThethirdchapterintroducesE.A.Nida`sFunctionalEquivalenceTheory,andgivesdetailexplainingaboutthetheory.Especially,whatisequivalenceinNida`stheoryandhowtoachievethisequivalence.ThefourthchaptergivessomeofexamplestoexplainhowthetranslationsachieveequivalenceinBNtranslationfromlexicalandsyntacticlevel.Andfromtheanalysisoftheoppositeexampleswithequivalencetheory,thethesisgivesadvicestoavoidtranslationfault.TheconclusionsummarizesthewholethesisandsuggestssomerequirementsofBNtranslation.
