ContestGuidelines(准则)
•Teachers,parents,andyouthgroupleadersmustfirstpleteanonlineregistration.
•Onceyoupletethat,you’llreceiveanartworkidentificationformbyemail.Printitoutandpleteaseparateformforeachartworkthatyousubmit.
•AllartworkmustdescribespecieschosenfromoneoftwolistsaslistedinSubjectMatter(below).
•AllentrieswillbeethepossessionsoftheEndangeredSpeciesCoalition.Weencourageyoutocopyartworkbeforesubmittingit.
SubjectMatter
•Students’artworkmustdescribealand-orocean-livingspeciesthateitherlivesinormigratesthroughtheUnitedStatesanditswaters,aplant,oraninsectthatisfoundintheU.S.,andiscurrentlythreatenedorendangered.
•Alternatively,studentsmayshowaspeciesthatwaspreviouslyontheendangeredspecieslist,butisconsideredrecovered.
•Westronglyencourageparticipantstohavetheirpiecestellapositivesuccessstoryofspeciesrecovery.Anexampleofthiscouldbeapaintingofanendangeredmarinespecieswithpeopleinthebackgroundcleaningupabeach.Judgesparticularlyappreciatespeciesthatareshownintheirhabitats.
