Thepastoral(畜牧的)areaofTibetisoneofthefivebiggestinChina,inwhichsheep,goatsandyaks(牦牛)aregrazed(放牧).Farmingcropsaremainlyhighlandwheat,beansandrape-seedsaswellassomeapplesandwalnuts.Tibethasaforestcoverageof60,000squarekilometers,whichisthesecondlargesttimberdeposit(木材储量)inChina.Thedearanimalandherbmedicinesareworld-famous.
