利用ARCGIS进行GEoeye查询

GeoFUSEArcMap™Toolbar安装方法

为了方便GIS使用者准确查询数据，GEOEYE和ESRI合作开发了新的查询工具ArcMap™Toolba，此工具可以方便快捷的查询到存档数据。

如果是第一次使用此工具，请到ESRI®SupportCenter查询详细信息。

ESRI®SupportCenter

使用前：

有两个GeoFUSEArcMap™版本，分为32比特和64比特，如果你不确定使用哪个版本，请登陆Howtodeterminewhetheracomputerisrunninga32-bitversionora64-bitversionoftheWindowsoperatingsystem.辨别你的电脑可以运行哪个版本。

确信电脑正在运行的是ArcGIS®Desktopversion9.3。

因为此工具在以前的版本可能无法安装。

如果你不确信ArcGIS桌面上是那个版本，可以查询或者下载这个DownloadtheESRI®ArcGIS®PatchFinder

除此以外，ArcGIS®Desktop必须已经安装在电脑上，否则无法安装此工具。

如果安装时遇到问题，请查看一下电脑是否已经安装提示项目中的添加还是移除，目录中有改变还是移除，然后在创建中选择更正，接下来按照提示点击下一步。

如果没有安装网络支持，会出现一个红色的“×”。

这时请参考ESRI网站文件Howto:

Install.NETSupportforArcGIS®Desktop.。

如果仍然有问题，可以登陆工具条系统需求进行查询。

点击：

Installingthetoolbar.-安装工具。

从ArcMap™ToolbarPage.下载GeoFUSEArcMap™，双击setup，即可看到下图：

接下来按提示点击（NEXT）下一步。

点击关闭（close）

开始下载Toolbar

打开ESRI®ArcMap™在上面的菜单中选择tools，然后选择extensions。

表格中出现很多选项，选择.SelectGeoFUSEArcMap™，aboutextensions，选择"Close".

从主菜单中选择View-toolbars-GeoEye'sGeoFUSEToolbar.会看到如下图片：

此时Toolbar处于ArcMap软件应用程序被打开。

Toolbar可以于ESRItoolbar对接。

或者是仍然处于漂浮状态。

轻轻点击titlebar，把它拖到你喜欢的窗口任意位置，或者拖到ArcMap保存。

现在就可以查询你想要的GeoEye存档文件。

创建一个你感兴趣的区域。

CreatinganAreaofInterest

共有四种查询方法，SearchbySpecifyingSpecificCoordinateValues

∙SearchUsingaSelectedFeatureontheMapasanAOI用已经选择的AOI区域查询

∙SearchbyPlacingaPointontheMap通过点坐标查询。

∙SearchbydrawingaPolygonontheMap通过画一个多边形查询。

其他的AOI工具包括进入AOI和清除AOI。

ZoomtoAOIandClearAOI

1.通过具体地理坐标值查询：

用GeoFUSEToolbar点击创建AOI地理坐标项。

通过坐标有三种方法查询：

用边框，用点坐标，用多边形。

输入坐标时需要将分秒都转化为度，坐标对需要应该是横竖坐标格式。

Afterenteringyourcoordinates,clickingthe"CreateAOI"buttonthemapwillzoomtotheselectedAOI,andaredpolygonsymbolizingtheAOIwillbeshownonthemap.

Note:

Allpolygoncoordinatelistsmuststartandendwiththesamecoordinatepairinorderto‘close’thepolygonandtheareaofanAOIcannotexceed1,000,000sqkm.

2.SearchUsingaSelectedFeatureontheMapasanAOI

选择地图上的元素作为AOI.

The"CreateAOIfromSelectedFeature"buttonisaconventienttoolforselectinganAOIbyusingtheshapeofanotherfeature.Simplyselectanyselectablepolygonfeatureinyourmapandclickthe"CreateAOIfromSelectedFeature"button.TheredAOIwillbedrawnaroundtheselectedfeature.ThisismoreclearlyvisibleiftheselectionisclearedaftertheAOIhasbeendrawn.

3.SearchbyPlacingaPointontheMap

ClickingontheSearchbyPointbuttonandthenclickingonyourpointofinterestonthemapwillopenadialogpromptingtheusertoenterabufferdistance（inkilometers）.Thedefaultbufferis3.5kmwhichwillresultina49squarekilometerAOI.Whentheuserclicksonthe"CreateAOI"button,themapwillzoomtotheselectedAOI,andaredpolygonsymbolizingtheAOIwillbeshownonthemap.TheuserselectedpointistheexactcenteroftheAOIboundingboxdrawnonthescreen.

4.SearchbyDrawingaPolygonontheMap

ClickingontheSearchbyPolygonbuttonandthendrawingyourareaofofinterestonthemapwillresultinaredpolygonsymbolizingtheAOIbeingshownonthemap.

5.ZoomtoAOIandClearAOI

Thesetwotoolsdoexactlyasonewouldexpect:

OnceanAOIhasbeenestablishedtherearethreefunctionaltoolsforuseinsearchingthearchive:

Selecting"SearchPreferences"fromthetoolbaropensthefollowingdialog:

Itiswithinthisdialogthattheusercansetdateranges,cloudcoverlevelsandimageresolutionusingstandardpreferences,orsetadvancedsearchpreferencesusingtheArcMap™QueryBuilder.

Oncethepreferenceshavebeenset（ifnotsetmanually,defaultvalueswillapply）selectingthe"SearchCatalog"buttononthetoolbarwillquerytheGeoEyearchive.

Resultsarethenreturnedintheformoffootprintscolorcodedbycloudcoverasshownbelow:

OncetheCatalogSearchhasbeenperformed,browseimagescanbedownloadedbyclickingonthe"FetchBrowse"buttononthetoolbar:

Theuserwillbepromptedtoselectforwhichsetofcatalogresultsbrowseimagesshouldbefetched,andtowhereonthelocalcomputertheyshouldbesaved.Thebrowseimageswillbesavedtothelocalcomputerandthebrowseimagelayersaddedtothemap,butinan"off"state.BrowseimagescanbedisplayedandhiddenbysimplytogglingthebrowseimagesonandofffromwithintheArcMap™tableofcontents.Note:

Theapplicationdefaultistodownloadallfootprints;however,ifanyofthefootprintsareselected,onlythebrowseimagesfortheselectedfootprintswillbedownloaded.

Notethatthefootprints（"CatalogResults"layer）canbeturnedofftoprovideanunobstructedviewofthe
